A:  Thank you for reaching out. if your window is 58 wide x 60 long. This shade size includes two additional brackets (total of 4) for additional support and we consider to be safe. But if you prefer to have two shades hanged side by side to have the option to raise one while keeping one fully extended. The mounting brackets allows you to do just that since they attach to the back of the shade instead of mounting from the sides.
