Q:Are these shades easy to remove for cleaning? Are they also easy to remove entirely if they need to be replaced in the future? (We bought another brand and now that they are installed we can't figure out how to remove them).

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for reaching out. The shades are easy to clean. The vinyl head rail and bottom rail can be wiped clean with a damp sponge. To clean the shade fabric or slats, use a feather duster or vacuum lightly using a soft brush attachment. To remove from the headrails it should be a simple pull from the headrail clips. If you are having issue removing please contact us at customerservices@allstrongusa.com and we will assist you.

Q:Do these blinds save on energy bills in the summer and winter? I don?t see anything in the description about that. Also, are they antimicrobial or are they prone to mildew/mold from condensation?

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for reaching out. Our cellular shades are a great source of energy saving due to its cellular construction. However, we do not have any extensive testing to give an exact percentage of energy saving or saving on energy bills as there are to many factors to get an accurate result. Similar to fabric curtains, the thicker the fabric the more insulation. Blackout also provides more insulation than the light filtering. There is no risk of prone to mildew/mold on the cellular shades.
