In order to assure compliance with Proposition 65, Hubbell Lighting has implemented an initiative to mark all Hubbell Lighting products with an appropriate warning label. Electrical products can contain trace amounts of lead or other metals, which are included on the Prop 65 list of substances. Rather than attempting to segregate products destined only for California, many manufacturers such as Hubbell Lighting have chosen to apply the State of California’s required label on all products. For additional information on Proposition 65, visit the State of California’s website at www.oehha.ca.gov. In summary, the addition of this labeling has been implemented to comply with California Proposition 65 and is not due to any Hubbell Lighting change in the materials or manufacturing methods by which our products are produced.
