Questions and Answers for QUICKJACK 7000TL Portable Car Lift with 110V Power Unit Included

A:  Not sure what you're asking here... It has two lock positions - halfway and all the way up.

A:  There is a cam that holds the lock position until you disengage it.

A:  In the Specifications it states that the locking mechanism engages at half and full height.

A:  I would like to know the same. Perhaps for clarification, is there a physical, mechanical, positive locking mechanism when in the raised position?

A:  You can use it outside, but I wouldn't leave it there permanently.

A:  The manual specifies that outside installation is "forbidden", basically due to chances of it getting dirty or wet and deteriorating the materials. It's fine, however, as long as you aren't leaving it outside in the elements.

A:  Without actually measuring it, I know the frame is right at 3" and if you use a small and large block (you get 4 of each), you'll add about another 5", give or take. If you have 8" of clearance, you "may" be okay.

A:  I was able easily get the lift under my 98 chevy tahoe without any issue and lift it with the suv adapter kit installed. its stock ride height and i had a couple inches of wiggle room still

A:  SUV adapters help when the clearance from ground to your car lifting points(bottom of the Car) has room and can give you extra 6" to raise the vehicle. SUV Adapters are a must for SUV and Trucks.

A:  The TL goes up 3" more than the SLX.

A:  SLX model are discontinued. New Model is QuickJack TL.. Raise 3" higher

A:  The BL-7000 is rated up to 7,000 lbs, so any vehicle that weighs under 7,000 lbs should be able to be lifted by this model.

A:  Lift my 98 navigator. Should be fine

A:  Yes it will .I have a silverado 2500 hd and it lifts it with no issues.

A:  Impala will be no problem, nice ride by thew way ! Suburban & truck should also be OK but make sure the lock bars are fully engaged. This tool works well just a little heavy to move around.

A:  Mine came with liquid sealant not tape. You have to wait 24 hrs for sealant to set. It will leak if you dont. Not sure about extra wheels. Mine has 2 attached to each unit.

A:  Mine didn’t come with extra wheels either but came with a thread sealant that didn’t work. I just used teflon tape I already had.
