Push the air chuck down so that the threaded section of the valve stem is inside the air chuck. Slide the sleeve down to lock the air chuck in place. I hope this helps! This inflator comes with a pinch valve adapter which can be used with the style of valve you see on a lot of inflatables, it also has the standard Schrader valve that you see on car tires.
