A:  Yes, I had to dig around the owners manual for a bit but it does mention that T-shank blades are the correct type. I believe this is the only type blade that can be used.

            Answer This Question

A:  No, this saw is not brushless. Their brushless models are quite abit more in terms of cost. Honestly though. If you're not going to be using this tool professionally, every single day, like your job depended on it, but more In a once in a while, diy homeowner type of way, where you don't need more power and torque, then you really don't need brushless. I'm a commercial electrician, and I still use tools that run with brushes. They work great. I can't remember ever really needing to change out the brushes on anything, except once, on an old drill my dad gave me, brushes last along time, and are simple to swap out. Save some money. I have this exact model, and it works great.

A:  It literally states right in the item description...18V. I'm not sure what else you need to know. Yes, use a Ryobi battery. The amperage is up to you. Higher the amperage, the more expensive the 18v battery will be.

A:  it'll take any Ryobi 18v ONE+ battery (so not the 40v or 4v) - they haven't changed the battery type in years if you have a Ryobi tool made in the past 15 years with a good battery it'll work with this tool. I'd suggest though to find a kit/bundle that comes with a battery and charger - the newer batteries have a charge level indicator and seem to last longer (at the same Ah rating).
