A: If you are standing right beside it someone could see your shadow. Nobody can see inside your house with these. They might see your shadow if you are standing nearby.

Q:I've seen comments the shades don't always stay in place with the adhesive. Any suggestions if the sticky isn't enough to keep them in place?

A: Hi Kimmie. Thank you for your question. Our shades should stay in place on most surfaces as long as it is not textured, drywall, or freshly painted. The best way to make sure that they stay in place is to prep the surface with rubbing alcohol and letting it fully dry, then firmly pressing the shades in place to ensure good adhesion.

A: Yes. You can cut these vertically. I found that a large, serrated bread knife worked best. I used a metal ruler as a straight edge. I believe they recommended a utility knife. That did not work for me. To shorten horizontally, scissors would work.

A: it can be shortened vertically, and be sure to account for natural tendancy of paper to fold up a bit. Leave 4" extra. Use clips.

A: Hello JL, It is a 4-pack of the shades. Please let me know if you have anymore questions!
by|Apr 5, 2020
A: If I remember correctly, there are 4 shades per box. . .I have allergies and cannot tolerate dust and especially lingering pollen in fabric. These temporary blinds are an inexpensive and quick way to change out for a clean set as often as needed in my bedroom.

Answer This Question
A: Yes, the box I received had four (4) blinds. Note: I ordered extra clips which were shoved into the same box damaging (bending/folding) the blinds. If buying I would suggest placing these on their own order.

Q:How can shade be mounted on outside of frame?

Answer This Question
A: It can be mounted outside the frame, but it looks smoother if you even put it on the outer edge of the frame.

A: Hello, thank you for the great question. To outside mount the shades, you flip the portion that has adhesive to a 90-degree angle and place it above the window framing or directly onto the window glass. The shade will cascade over itself to cover the window. Here is a helpful video on the process, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1SpK7FY3qw . Q:How do you fix the shade when it no longer goes up??

Answer This Question
A: Hello Dana! If your shade becomes unbalanced and hangs unevenly. Place your hands on the bottom railing spaced an equal distance apart. Gently pull the shade down the full length, or as far as it will go. Help guide the shade back up to the top, keeping the bottom railing as level as possible. This action may have to be done several times until the shade corrects balance.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if I can be of any further assistance.

A: Over time you'll have to fold it up to the position desired. I usually don't alter the length too once I have them in place. Use clips to secure position.
