"Rods are pre-strung with cord loop on the right. They may be converted to cord loop on the left by simply hooking the cord and pulling it out from inside the left pulley housing and pulling the loop all the way out."

A: The product description does not specify a max weight, but it is heavy duty and comes with end and other support brackets. I have two rather heavy drapery panels each about 2.06 pounds (4.12 pounds total) and have had no problems with the rod.

A: Yes, you can. As a matter of fact, mine came with the standard right-side location of the pulleys. I've moved them both to the left side. You can do that just with one of them leaving the other one on the original side.
