A:  Siesta is one of the top UV blockers, it blocks 90% of UV rays.

A:  Yes, these shades are rated for outdoor use and can be left outside.

A:  Yes, you may mount this on an aluminum pergola but you will need to purchase additional anchors/screws that are better suited to aluminum. The screws we provide are only meant for wood.

A:  The 120" motorized shade weighs approximately 28lbs, you will want to mount the shade somewhere that can support the weight of the shade, preferably into a stud.

A:  The Surfside shade must be connected to power in order to work. It does not have rechargeable batteries. The remote requires a battery.

A:  This shade can be mounted anywhere there is a flat, sturdy mounting surface that the valance and brackets can be installed on.

A:  You could probably use a Bond Bridge and use their app to set a timer.

A:  These shades do not have a timer.

A:  The motorized shades come with two guide wires.

A:  As of right now, our shades must be controlled via the remote control that comes with the shade.
