A: Yes, a 60" backsplash can be special ordered through your local Home Depot. They can help with pricing and availability. If you are adding this to an already installed vanity the colors WILL NOT MATCH EXACTLY. This is due to there being separate production runs. A new installation will match if pieces are ordered at the same time. Thank you for your interest in Swan products.

Q:can I cut this at home, and how OR will the store cut it for me...I need it to be 19 wide

Answer This Question
A: Yes, you can trim the sidesplash to fit your dimension. Trim the edge that will be placed against the wall using a fine tooth carbide tip blade. Adhering painter's tape over the cut line and cutting through the tape will help reduce splintering.

Q:Do you need to cut the side splash to fit?
by|Feb 22, 2016

Answer This Question
A: The VT-22SS sidesplash should be a perfect fit for your vanity top. It actually measures 21" and is designed to fit the Contour models. Should you find that it does need trimming to fit flush against the backsplash, you can use a circular saw with a fine tooth carbide blade (60-80 teeth). Be sure the cut edge is the side that meets the backsplash as trimming will leave an unfinished edge.

Q:Color

Answer This Question
A: We apologize that the complete color name dropped off of the product title and will work to correct that. No, this side splash is Gray Granite. Although not available online, you can special order a Tahiti Gray side splash though your local Home Depot store. Part Numbers VT21-3SS-053 or VT22SS-053 will both work with a Contour or Ellipse vanity top. The difference between the two is that the VT21-3SS-012 is 3/8" thick and the VT22SS-012 is 3/4" thick. We hope this information will help you in your decision in choosing a new vanity top and side splash for your bathroom remodel.

A: Dear Valued Home Depot Customer,
We reached out to MFG for more information and below is their response.
“ Thank you for inquiring about the VT21-3SS-010 side splash. Yes, we do have another option available that is 19' Wide. The side splash can be special ordered through your local Home Depot store under Swan's Model #VT-19SS / Part #VT00019SS.010. Should you choose to order the 21" side splash online, it can be trimmed to fit using a circular saw with a carbide tipped blade. You would need to trim the edge butting up to the back wall so that the unfinished edge would not be visible."
Thanks

"It is not necessary to seal the surface of a Swan vanity top or sidesplash. Our solid surface material is heat, stain and scratch resistant for long lasting beauty. Cleaning is easy with common household cleansers."
