A:  This isn’t wood. It’s more like plastic so if you have a paint that adheres to plastics, I don’t see why it couldn’t be painted.

A:  Appox 0.19 in.

A:  If you use some vertical 2x4 or other PT lumber size for the corner piece, you can attach it by screwing thru it, into the wood.

A:  Yes, I used mine horizontally. It looks great. I put mine up underneath my front porch a few years ago and it still looks great! I am very pleased with this product.

A:  Sure. It installs either way.

A:  Hi! I don't think 4 feet apart would work. Instructions say you should screw every 2 feet. I know from my experience the wind can really catch these. I did every 2 feet and still had one break off. Overall they held up very well at 2 feet. I would buy again and recommend them. Good Luck!

A:  Yes, I would work.. that's exactly how I installed mine, and it looked great..!!

A:  mine came rolled up,and was a lot less rigid than the white panels that can be purchased in the store, this product was is difficult to work with.

A:  My husband used small self tapping screws into metal. However, he estimates used 1/8" or less for wood. Did not drill into vinyl but into upper top of corner to brace. Hope this helps.

A:  I painted the piece I bought, but, even though I bought home depots best paint, it still chips off easily.

A:  Instructions say this is NOT paintable. I did see one job where it was painted and over the winter some minor paint seemed to peel away. I think that after a few years you may see significant problems. Just my humble opinion. Good Luck!

A:  Yes, I bought 5 lattice to decorate my porch but I need other lumbers to complete the decking. They are beautiful and should look fantastic afterwards.

A:  It’s plastic. I’m sure if you prepped it correctly it could be but I wouldn’t try painting it as is.

A:  its vinyl, why paint it ? buy cheaper wood lattice, paint that. they do sell special paint for vinyl

A:  Yes, my neighbor painted hers and touched it up later but as most painted plastics it doesn’t last unless you keep on top of it

A:  I don't think you can paint it. It's not wood, but a type of plastic (vinyl) and I don't know how paint will adhere to it long term. The lattice comes in different colors, so perhaps you can find a color that matches what you would like.

A:  Yes. Choose a latex urethane paint that can flex with it.

A:  Yes, but... if you just slap some latex paint on it will likely peel off before long. You will need plastic paint, or an adhesion promoting primer, or something specifically made for painting plastic.
