A: With proper drainage the rubber mulch should not float. However, in times where there are large amounts of rain in a short period of time, there could be potential for some of the material to float.

A: The product is still sold in stores. The stores in your immediate area may not have received any just yet. I live in TN and our local store has 370 in stock. If you need a lot I would suggest buying a larger quantity when they have bulk pricing and having it delivered. I hope that helps.

A: I don't know, but you can come to my house and pick it up from any corner of my property, as the rain has moved over 200 bags used for the flower beds to the rest of the yard. Wo't use this again.

Q:Is this rubber mulch biodegradable?

Answer This Question
A: Rubber is not biodegradable. This however is an excellent way to "re-use" old tires. If you look very closely at the mulch on some pieces you can see a part of a tire size. Lookup the tire problem..
Re the product, it's great BUT does fade after about a year, so keep that in mind. Nice to not mulch every darn year however!

Answer This Question
A: We only manufacture one shade of red rubber mulch. This material can be listed as red or cedar red however both are the same material.
by|Aug 29, 2023
A: No, it's not really red, more like reddish brown

A: It is close in color, but these are made of shredded rubber tires, and the high temperatures in FL are killing anything we put this around because it holds heat and can get as hot as 100+ degrees to the touch. It has almost killed everything in the flowerbeds.

A: They will work but they move around with any water pooling or high-pressure blowers. Also, I have noticed nothing is really growing in the beds we used it in.. I think the rubber is robbing the ground of oxygen and the sun really heats them up and has caused heat damage to some of the plants. Wood may be better if you have plants or flowers.
