              A:  It weighs 10 lbs.

              by|Jan 20, 2020

A:  Not sure of actual weight. I will say I carried it one block and rode home on the bus with it. Then walked a quarter of a block to my apt. It’s light, functional and worth it for the price.

                    by|Apr 24, 2021

A:  Not sure, but fairly lightweight and easy for me, as a smaller person, to handle and move around. Very handy to have and use, and happy I got it. Use it almost daily.

                        Answer This Question

A:  bought on line at special advertised price in december but received damaged and home depot replaced it at the same price

                        by|Jan 21, 2020

A:  I'm not familiar with slick deals but when I saw the price of thirty and some odd dollars, I jumped at it. Been wanting a ladder for some time now but could not would not pay $90 - whatever for an overweight professional capacity one. This is a perfect height to comfortably reach ceilings for painting, curtain rods and the like for window maintenance, picture hanging and so forth. It is lightweight, solid in its structure and sturdy in its capacity to hold steadfast when I climb up and down the ladder steps. :) All in all, I definitely feel it was money well spent.

A:  No, you have to pull the shelf open manually. I found the hinges on both the pail shelf and the main hinge/ locking arms to be very tight/ stiff and difficult to open.

A:  Five-foot ladders probably aren't as much in demand as six-foot ladders. I have seen other shorter ladders for a cheaper price, but I want this to last a lifetime and I think it will.

                                                    by|Mar 13, 2019

A:  Probably the five footer is more expensive because it is an uncommon size. A manufacturer would make them in smaller quantities, which is less efficient, and then they sit on shelves longer at the factory and at the distributer, which adds to the cost.
