you need to sit next to them with outstretched arms, just to keep warm! I bought two, placed both on the sides of the chair, sat down in between and...... felt a subtle warmth coming up from the radiator. even cats are not interested . I don't recommend it. I'll take it back today.

I bought this heater a few months ago and just started using it and it will not turn on at all.

I am living in Florida and using the heater on night when the temperature drop to 44 F. It take about 3 hours to heat a large bedroom with joint large bathroom. The heater has 3 option of heating and meet my expectation. I can't tell how the heater is efficient on energe untill get my electric bill.

I don't feel any warmth of the device heated, but it doesn't send me any warmth I'm going to get back. It’s very very bsd

This heater works great for me and I was really glad I got it when we had that cold snap last week. mine is set up a little different, I have a 113 Deg. thermo relay switch to turn a fan on and off with it, so the fan circulates the heat. I actually got 2 of these at the same time and they both work great. their are 3 heat settings low, med and high. I use medium my self as I only want to draw 10 amps and the manual thermostat on it seems to be fairly accurate at maintaining a heat level.

Very good performance

Nice little heater. I like that its manual and simple. The price was good as well. It does take about 20-30 mins to heat a mis sized basement. I never turned past the Med setting as it gets plenty hot.

I'm in Michigan and my furnace went out a few days ago (January). I had one oil filled heater already which was valiantly keeping my small house tolerable but decided a second one wouldn't hurt. I went to HD prepared to spend more for a more high end heater but this was all they had. So far both heaters set on medium/low are keeping my 1200 sf house toasty warm! Oil filled radiators are the safest to operate, which is important to me. Note that even on low they get very hot to the touch, so follow all recommended safety instructions.

We have an older home and I have a few spaces in my home where it can get really cold. I purchased this unit to keep those areas warm when the temperatures dip below freezing. These units create a nice comfortable heat. I do like the option to set the wattage for adjusting energy consumption

Slow heating, but it eventually heats up the whole room, not too hot but warm enough during the winter in Chicago. About 5 to 10 min after turning on it, I felt warm and the machine is very hot.

It's a great little heater. Does the job and saves on my gas bill. Takes a short time to heat up but keeps the room warm.

I bought this as a supplemental heater for a large master bedroom in the fall, we don’t even use it all the time. We have 2 other oil heaters as supplemental heaters throughout our house that we’ve had for years that have never had any issues. Very disappointed in the low quality of the lifespan on this heater.

I used the heater at nights only, after 2 weeks, noticed a stain under it, sure enough its leaking out the oil. Had to return it. It warmed up one room ok, I kept the room door closed.

My house is just under 700 sf when the weather turns really cold the heat pump doesn't keep up and runs all the time. I had a ceramic heater I used in the past but it opted to go out this year. I ordered 2 of these just before our winter storm hit and I was really impressed. Within 2 hours of plugging them in the temperature was rising in the house. I placed one in the front of the house and one in the back and they keep the house at a steady 73 degrees.

Bought this to help my very old furnace to keep up. It was working decent. It would get SO hot to the touch that it was actually kind of difficult to move while its on. Now its not getting as hot and not warming the room as well. I've had it for a month.

Efficient, quiet, reliable radiant heat that heats my whole bedroom. I live with this heater beside my at home work desk during the winter. No hot air blowing and making it too hot then turn it off and it's too cold. Consistent warmth similar to the sun or a fire. It takes a couple of hours to fully heat a really cold room but once it warms up it keeps the room a consistent and cozy heat even during temps down in the teens. Old school is often better.

Keeps my toes nice and warm from across the room. Have had several oil heaters and they have always been my go to warmth. No noise, smell and can move it around easily. Like the 3 cycles that I can choose for how warm I want the room to be, also. Price was increased, but so is everything else!

This is my 3rd winter using this heater in my greenhouse. Works great. Using a small fan to circulate the heat really helps. Right now it is 38 outside and 55 in the greenhouse.

Dissapointed with this purchase; this heater doesn't work. I've had it on for almost 2 hours and can only feel a small wave of heat when standing inches away.

I literally purchased this 2 hours ago plug it up its been bout 45 mins to an hour can barely feel anything, my house is still very cold,, purchased from home depot.. pelonis heater, I will try to wait a few more hours to see if warms up room,, if not packing it up taking it back to home depot...

I purchased this heater and I have to stand right next to it to feel any heat at all. I purchased it two weeks ago and thought maybe the oil had to heat from use, still no heat. Returning this heater heater

I bought two. All five of my adult siblings are going to buy some today. Oh, you can see the thermostat going up in the house. Great product and brand!

Two died with very light low setting usage. The 2nd one overheated so much tonight that I had to roll it outside to patio with oven mitts on!

I have a Kenwood radiator that is very similar, but the electronic controls make it impossble to use with a smart plug. The Kenwood is warm to touch on low so I can use it in my toddlers room. This Pelonis has basic controls so its good for smart plugs but even on low it gets VERY hot to touch so you need to use care

I like this heater, it isn't a fan forced heat that dries out the room. It keeps the room comfortably warm. No noise and it is easy to set and use. Good length of cord and easy to move around on the casters. Overall a good little heater. I would definitely suggest it to anyone needing a space heater.

My heater is currently being repaired and I live in a wooden home that stays cold!! This device was not worth the time I spent looking online at reviews. I took it out of the box, assembled, and plugged it in, in hopes that I would finally feel some warmth..... I didn’t, it sucked. I’m not sure if it was defective or it just sucks.... either way, the heat radiates when you get really close but I slept with this heater in the room, door closed, and about 5 blankets on top of me... woke up and was still pretty chilly in the room... any-who, I’m returning it... I’m not sure where all of the good reviews come from .....
