Such a awsome smoker!! We are talking heavy metal not that stanless steel smoker painted black. Your going to need help picking this up. The smoke is awsome the tempature is easy to maintain. Now as far as a cover, found one it is the universal82 inch premium grill cover. Sold at Home Depot. Perfect fit!! Lots of reviews about not being able to find one

Bought this grill, followed the seasoning instructions, grates warped within 6 uses....can’t find replacements.

The grill was easy to assemble and appears to be very well made, however the lid over the main cooking surface has a slight warp to it allowing smoke to escape, overall I think its a very nice grill.

I’ve had this grill/smoker for 2yrs now, and I’ve smoked everything from cheese to turkey, grilled the normal stuff. The grill, if you use it as a grill its just like any other, put the coals in the main compartment on the lower grates and you’re good to go. Smoking is a whole different situation... Out of the box, truthfully speaking; the smoker sucks. It leaks heat,

Bottom line is that you’re not going to get a better smoker unless you drop over a grand on a custom made smoker. This grill (and I’m sure the Ranchers Steer Series as well) is made with heavy-duty steel (for a mass-produced grill, it’s probably as thick as it gets) and will hold plenty of food. It also holds temps very well and has a massive fire box that doubles as a charcoal grill. It cooks evenly without modifications. I researched every grill on the planet and it basically came down to my budget- I can’t justify spending $1000 or more on a smoker. It came down to the Kingsford or the Oklahoma Joes. I happened to see one of each in person in the store. The Kingsford was better, in my opinion. I’m so glad I bought this smoker. I read a review where someone said the legs rusted off. My suggestion to prevent this is to use some high-temp silicone and seal the plate at the top of the legs where it mounts to the smoker chamber so no water can run down the barrel and get into the hollow legs. If you’re not very pleased with this smoker, especially at this price, then something’s wrong with you...

It’s a big grill. Took a few hours to assemble by myself. I added extra high heat gasket tape and silicone in certain places. I seasoned it before I actually used it and it seems to work well. Only thing I don’t like it only has one temperature gauge. I’ve found the end end closes to the smoke box temperature is usually different than the other end. However I recommend it.

This smoker/grill exceeded my expectations. Little to no smoke leaks. Made very sturdy with thick steel. The directions we're easy to follow and assemble. Very impressed with the looks and performance. Looks and performs like a high end smoker, but for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this product. Hopefully it will last a good while, time will tell.

I assembled the grill alone. Takes a little effort, but everything went together well. Took me less than an hour with standard tools. The steel seems adequately thick and the grates are expanded steel. The grill seasoned very well. I used peanut oil and after 3 hours, everything looked good. This grill works very well. I smoked 3 racks of baby back ribs this past weekend, the temp was reasonably steady and easily controlled. The potential "hot spot" from the smoking box was minimal. I didn't have to move the ribs around in the 5 hours of smoking. In my opinion, this grill is well worth the price.

 Bought this grill in Jan 2018, preassembled at the Home Depot in Panama City FL. The good staff that assembled it there, did an excellent job of ensuring that everything was nice and tight. If you are going to purchase one, make sure you plan to bring a utility trailer, of a couple of friends if you are going to lift it in to your truck; it’s heavy.

 I followed the seasoning instructions found in the instruction manual, and highly recommend that you do as well. The only significant divergence from the manual was that I sprayed the outside of the grill with WD-40 prior to lighting the fire box to help preserve the finish; so far this has held true through 10 cooks. There are no signs of problems with the finish.

 This grill drafts like a freight train, so be prepared to close the stack cap, and damper vents a little tighter than you would with other offset smokers. Using a half chimney of Weber’s premium briquettes, and pecan wood splits, I can comfortably hold temps within 7-9 degrees of each other both ends of the smoking chamber; no tuning plates needed.

 The heavy construction helps it hold it’s heat. With the above, I can comfortably go an hour without adding wood splits. To aid with this, I made a coal basket using expanded metal, and that sits atop of the coal grate provided with the grill. Doing so really helped.

 I often get asked why I did not buy the Oklahoma Joe’s, and I believe it to be a fine smoker. However, I shopped the fire box component of the grill over the name, and just could not choose a two piece firebox that had to have gaskets and or Permatex to seal the two haves. I preferred the all welded firebox of the Kingsford.

 Ordering extra grates from the manufacturer is a breeze, and as I found … very likely cheaper than you can get from a local welding shop, so check with Kingsford first. Contact them at (888)837-1380. You will find Angelica to be an absolute charm.

 So far, this grill has not disappointed & I doubt it will.

The grill is well made, and goes together pretty easy following the directions. The only two complaints I have is the paint isn't heat resistant enough, first firing and the coating on the fire box bubbled. The other issue is the grills, they are too thin and warp from the heat when using direct charcoal in the main grill chamber.

Purchased and it came terribly assembled. missing screws , gasket installed improperly, smoke box installed incorrectly. No one is helping resolve the issue.

Went together easily, works as intended, grate in firebox isn't very good, replaced it with a 14" cast iron grill.Thankfully I didn't have to take the one that was already assembled as it was done poorly. Very happy with it

This grill is made of the heaviest metal I’ve ever seen in a store-bought smoker/grill. Easy to assemble and does require more than one person. First smoke was easy to maintain temp for 8 hours.

The grill should have been assembled by Homedepot but was just delivered. Sadly I had to put it together which was a pain. Very disappointed with Homedepot and their service. Grill does its job!
