Good quality but tongue too thick to just slide in. Needed to use hammer and blunt chisel to push in groove. Once installed worked great but took about 20 minutes to install one side.

We’ve needed new weather stripping on our door for a couple of years. We tried the stick on type but it didn’t work well. We purchased this on a recommendation and couldn’t be happier. It was extremely easy to install and works great.

This is a high quality weatherstrip especially if your door jamb already has the groove it fits into. HOWEVER-the package only has enough weatherstrip to seal ONE SIDE of the door. The package does have 84” printed on the corner but there is also a diagram on the package front of a door drawing with arrows on each side and the top. Made me think it was a complete kit. Its not. For most doors you will need three of these.

I bought this to replace some weatherstripping that the dog scratched. Compared to the old weatherstripping the flange that slides into the slot in the door jam is much thicker and more difficult to cram in. I had to use a putty knife to shove it in. The old weatherstripping never came loose, so i am not sure why it needs to be so tight

Like the lifetime warranty. Extra effort needed to work into door jamb groove. So far, so good.

The fit is tight and creates a nice seal around the doorway.

Easy to install. Seems to be durable. Need the back end of a screw driver or hammer to push into the slot.

The color is actually beige and not like the yellow color in the product image.

Bought this to replace the much cheaper foam core M-D replacement weatherstrip with very thin outer covering which had crumbled from the sun in two years. It is firmer and I’m hopeful that its thicker more solid sealing surface holds up better. Easy to install.

Was very difficult to install. The part to go into the door guide was too big. I spent about 30 minutes using a "tool" from my kitchen and a hammer to tap it into place. Once in place it was way too stiff to create a good seal. I ended up taking it out and putting up my old strip. Even though it is torn up by my dogs, it gives a better seal than this M-D Platinum Collection garbage.

HD used to sell or my local HD used to carry a better weather strip that matched the beige color of the exterior door I purchased and installed. I used the other one to replace the original because my dogs scratched the bottom one foot and needed replacing. The dogs scratched it away again so it needed replacing. They didn't have the better weather strip so I bought this instead. It is not as "fluffy" and doesn't have near enough foam to fill in gaps like the other weather stripping, plus the color doesn't match. I'll be looking at other stores to find the better stripping since this stripping doesn't fill in the small gaps like the original.

It is a good product but not enough in the package to do a whole door. Very pricey for the amount.
