First, the brushed black nickel is not even a little brushed. It is like a tinted mirror. Very smooth. Very reflective. It’s basically like a pewter chrome. Second, the website says the max is 40watts PER BULB. This is not true. It is 8watts per bulb, 40watts TOTAL. I bought this lamp to use with grow lights for plants that I have displayed on shelves in my living room. There are zero 8watt, dimmable grow light bulbs on the market. Dimmable 20watt? Yes. 8watt? No. I am very unhappy.

A unique piece to be sure, the color is a spectacular pink/bronze...something I'd not seen before. This will be my new reading lamp - gorgeous! And as an added plus - built in dimming! Thank you, Home Depot, you've really hit the mark with this one.

We love this lamp. We were reluctant to order it because it is so unusual and has such a high profile. We ordered it online, never having actually seen one. But once we got it in and began to use it, it provided a comfortable brightness to our high-ceiling room We like the lights directed up for an almost indirect glow. But if we need more light to read by or for other activities, we can redirect one or more lights downward. In the end, the lamp is completely unobtrusive. I read about some people having an annoying hum when the light is on. We do not. The lamp is well made and quite substantial. It was fairly easy to put together alone, with a tiny bit of assistance at one or two stages and certainly to move it from room to room.

I bought this as a gift for my wife. She loves it. It looks beautiful and illuminates a large area using only 40 watts. The arms are adjustable and how they adjust is not be obvious form the description. The arms pivot at the point where they enter the base. The arms do not bend. This means the heads will always be the same distance from the floor but by rotating the arms about their base, you can place the heads where you want. The heads are also adjustable. We point some up at the ceiling and some down for reading.

One of the bulbs had an issue and the customer service department attended to this need immediately.

Good and stable unit but light intensity is much lower than expected. It does not brighten up the living room and may need add'l lighting to supplement.

The quality is very good and looks great. I am happy with the purchase overall but it's more suitable for rooms with tall ceilings.

There are somethings I don’t usually like to buy on-line, would rather be able to see it in person, but have to say this arch lamp was BETTER than expected. Much better looking than in the pictures and way more sturdier than I was was expecting. Would absolutely but it again if I had to do over.

I get so many compliments on this lamp. It has a sleek retro look with a modern finish. I absolutely love it!

Nice light, just what I was looking for

It’s a good size, and lights up very well. However, one of the light bulbs went out after only a couple weeks of use, and we had to buy new ones. I expected more life out of them for the price we paid for this light fixture.

This looks great and fits exactly how I imagined it would.

I was surprised that the bulbs have to "warm up" and the light isn't all that bright. I intend to replace the bulbs in the near future and see if that fixes solves the problem. The future looks great.

The light bulbs that came with the lamp did not last one week. Had to spend another $16 on new lightbulbs.

Seems sturdy, it matches our decor. It’s taller than you might think, and that’s fine with the way we use it. The lampshades are very attractive. It comes with LED lightbulbs and they’re actually very good ones. They’re warm white and they don’t flicker. We use them at about half brightness, which is plenty. It has a very heavy base, so it won’t tip over.

This floor lamp was exactly what we needed to go behind our new sectional. Love the dimmer switch because we need a bright light for reading but then just a dim light when we are watching tv. I am very happy with my purchase.

Beautiful, however does make a barely noticeable buzzing sound while on. Also, the on/off switch is hard to reach when it is placed behind a couch. Otherwise, love this lamp!

It is a very tall lamp that probably works best in a room with tall ceilings. The light output is bright with the included LED lamps. There isn't much movability with the 5 lamps, but they do pivot side to side a bit. The base is heavy and supports well. There is a slight hum with the dimmer but not too loud. It was put together in under a half hour.

The base was defective, because the slot for the registration pin on the base mounting plate was not machined properly. I was able to repair the problem by disassembling the base, grinding out the registration slot with a rotary grinder, and reassembling the base. Clearly the manufacturer has a QC problem - customers should not need machine tools to repair manufacturing defects in a product such as this one.

this lamp really looks great in a room with a high ceiling. i love that we can dim it, just wish we could dim the individual lamps... was easy to put together .
