Thereʻs a clicking sound every time I bring the sweeper back towards me.

Okay on carpet doesn't work well on floor.

lightweight, quite effective. The comb is very good on hairs. Still requires light brushing and wiping by hand to clear lint and grunge from chambers into trash. One design flaw-- handle cannot stand vertical at rest. Flops sideways so cleaner must be propped against a wall ( or hung flat on a wall, but it will shed some grunge that it has picked up.)

Love it’s functionality; however, it’s not very sturdy. I would pay more for a better made sweeper.

Does an excellent job on carpet but I have only had it a few weeks. I'm afraid something is going to break as the brushes and wheels don't look durable, but only time will tell.

Picks up so much better than my Bissel. This is a great value.

The brushes on this little carpet sweeper do a fantastic job of picking lint and dust and other sundry unidentifiable items up off my throw rugs very well! I have both braided rugs and heavy wool rugs here and there in my house, and I tried this out as soon as I arrived. It took everything up, and when I was done, it was a small matter to open the bottom of the sweeper over the kitchen trash can and easily remove everything. Small, lightweight, nearly silent, human-powered (with very little effort), and it makes but a small "footprint" stored away in the closet. This thing is quite the item!

I bought this product thinking that I would be getting a plastic piece of junk that wasn't going to be worth my time. Instead I open the small box to find a sturdy looking product made mostly of metal and functional as advertised. I will say that it will not completely replace a standard motorized vacuum, but it will pick up the most obvious bits of noticable floor garbage from carpet if you repeatedly move over the area several times. I also half-expected this product to merely bury the mess into the carpet, but it actually collects a good portion of the surface debris instead of just burying it all into the carpet fibers. Overall, it's useful for what it's truly worth and that is spot sweeping and light surface debris once or twice a week. Honestly, a traditional motorized vacuum cleaner is still necessary even with this product, but this product will most definitely serve as a "get-by" (as my grandfather says) if you need to make your carpet apppear as though you attempted to vacuum it recently if there is a surprise visit from guests.

Alpine Industries 11 in. Manual Triple Brush Floor and Carpet Sweeper in Red # 1. Don't trust Home Depot. # 2. The unit I received was used. But I was still charged full "new" price. the package had been opened, there were fingerprints all over the sweeper, and there were remnants of dirt in it, and the handle piece was stripped and won't tighten up properly. Now the pros, The sweeper itself works well, while it doesn't get very close to the edges it picks up well in open areas. It's fairly light and emptying it straight forward. I would recommend this sweeper. Just check the unit and make sure it is actually "new". I only give this product 2 stars because I received a "used" unit, otherwise I would give it at least 4-5 stars.

I like the Home Depot friendly customer service and good producrts.

It was easy to assemble. It's a great size. It worked well. However, the handle broke after the very first time I used it so I returned it and won't bother to order from this brand.

Helps sweeping the carpet

I love this thing! It picks up the hunks of cat hair that’s all over the carpet when we get up. Just takes a second to get the carpet decent without dragging out the vacuum. It’s so light, easy to empty. Everybody’s sick of me saying out much I love it! Best $20 I’ve ever spent.
