The toilet was just what we needed.. perfect height

I purchased two Champion 4 HET Right Height Elongated 1.28 gpf Toilets a year ago to replace the original toilets in my 2003 house, and my water usage has decreased significantly. A handyman installed to toilets without any complications. The exterior of the toilets is easy to clean with a 1:1 mixture of vinegar, and the bowl with a mixture of vinegar, Dawn Dish Detergent, Real Lemon Juice, and water.

Love the height and the lower amount of water for each flush. Don't know why we waited so long to replace our lower height toilet.

This toilet flushes with a "Swoosh". My old toilet clogged regularly. I have had this toilet for 6 months and it does not clog! I love it!

We are very pleased with this product. While I’ve noticed, after a year, the flush isn’t quite as powerful as when it was new, it’s still very efficient.

Great toilet very easy to install. Every thing that I needed was in the box.

Had this toilet for several years now and it works great. We did have a small problem which was quickly remedied when American Standard sent out a replacement part. I would buy again.

Had this about a year now. It flushes good, once and gone. My complaint is that there is so much water used in the lower part of the bowl to flush, very little water flows down from the rim to clean the sides of the bowl. You are constantly cleaning the bowl.

It may do golf balls well but real live stuff don't work like your golf balls it is misleading I would not by another one of this toilet.

Bought 3 of these from Home Depot 6 months ago to replace old style low toilets in my home. They work great, no problems. I would, in fact I have, recommended this toilet to others.

We bought this toilet a year ago and it works great. I didn’t give it 5 stars as it is to xxtall. We are tall people 5’7” . The next heigh lower would have been better for us. We have an older model in our other bathroom that is just the right height (x tall).

Everything good so far. Every so oftern I have to flush twice, so much for the golf balls.

We bought three of these units to replace our ten year old Kohlr units. I chose this for the features such as coated, larger outflow pipe and it's sheer flushing capability. The videos showing it handling tons of objects like golf balls or sponges is amazing. But these units deliver on that every single day. We've had zero overflows or incomplete flushes. It may seem odd to some to get excited about a toilet, but these units are so good at doing their job that you never ever have a worry. That's worth getting excited about. I'd buy again in a heartbeat.

It does not take all the toilet paper down when you flush.

I'm disappointed. I bought two toilets and had them installed. I had high hopes but after a year I started to have problems with them. It started great one flush for big jobs and after the year it took two flushes. After two years I had issues with the tank not filling automatically after a flushing. I had to take the lid off and tap on the floater. What a pain. Also, the water level in the tank would drop and I would hear the water running. It was the tank filling up to water level again...water waste. I think the entire tank mechanics need to be replaced. I use to love American Standard but not so much now.

Six months ago, when we decided to replace the American Standard toilet that came with the house we bought over 30 years ago, we read all the reviews touting some of the newer brands that have joined the marketplace over the years. I am glad that we chose to stay with American Standard which, in my view, still sets the standard in this arena. The Right Height model is aptly named for its perfect comfort level, and the new flush technology is amazingly powerful and efficient. For the features it offers, this model is very reasonably priced. We are very happy with this product and would recommend it to others without hesitation

Bought this a couple of months ago and it does not perform as advertised.

ONCE INSTALLATIONS WERE COMPLETED AND TANK WATER LEVEL ADJUSTMENTS MADE, THE TOILETS HAVE FUNCTIONED EXCEPTIONALLY WELL.

Have it for as couple of months now and I am really greatly satisfied with my purchase. this toilet has amazing flushing power and I love the fact that it is one piece.

Extraordinary toilet. Flushes strong every time! Perfect height!

I replaced an older toilet that was noisy and took a long time to fill the 3 plus gallons in the tank. I thought I was getting better flushing than the new efficiency toilets and I am on my own well and septic system so water usage wasn't a big issue, recycling on my own property as it were. After the 50th clog over the years, I decided I wanted a new toilet that wouldn't clog, and this one definetly filled the bill. It flushes fast and furious and clears the bowl every time. I am a happy camper!

Toilet seat leaves a lot to be desired. Very difficult to clean because of the ribs & recesses on the underside. Very unsanitary. Water flow is poor on the sides of the bowl & leaves soft feces clinging to the sides. Flushes well with no clogging.

Had a problem with seat setting level. It had creaking and squeaking problems. I called for warranty and the problem was solved

Great product.....Although I had to replace float seal ( less than a year old )

In less than a year the flushing mechanism failed and had to be replaced. The Flushing power is inadequate and not as advertised. No more American Standard for me.

Pros - I love the height and the water saver! Cons - The seat feels cheap and the cap to the cleaning bottle area is fragile as well. The lid of the seat feels like it us pushing your forward as it does not go all the way back to the tank.
