My neurologist strongly encouraged adding this type tub when building our new house due to severe neuropathy in my feet as well as for my husband who is 77 years old. It was expensive, but we did it. It takes so long to fill you about freeze waiting! Because it was a less expensive model, it as fewer jets - so they are hardly noticeable at all. The quick drain works well...about 3 times the fill speed. I am so, so sorry we spent the money on this and so disappointed I really cried! Such a waste of money! Please, take my advice and do NOT BUY THIS MODEL.

I am extremely satisfied with my Exclusive Series 60 in. X 30 in. walk-in Whirlpool Tub. It features a quick drain pump to eliminate the need to wait for draining. It also feature a heater to keep the water warm for those times when I want to sit and enjoy the whirlpools massage for a few more minutes. The whirlpool massage with 8 jets is the greatest experience of my life, it soothes and relaxes all those tired muscles after a long day's work. The hand wand makes it easy to rinse my back, and also massages like standing in a warm spring shower. I highly recommend it to all who are considering getting one.

Very solid and well built tub--just wait until the tub arrives before doing the rough-in for the drain, the measurements on the chart are off

Missing parts to faucet

There was an essential part missing and it set our construction back 4 days waiting for that part to be shipped otherwise I am extremely pleased with the product

Very poor rating. This is an expensive tub and the portsmouth faucet will not divert to handheld shower. I paid a plummer quite a bit of money to install last week and he tested the faucet and it did convert to the handheld shower. Two days later, I wanted to shower and could not do so.I contacted American Standard and was told the transfer valve was no good. They did say they would send another one to me as it was covered under warranty, but I would have to pay to have someone come out to install it.I would not recommend this tub to anyone.

I'm 5'9" and the seat isn't long enough for me to lean back with my head on the back rim in order to be submerged enough to be comfortable and relax. In order to lean back I have to brace myself with my feet on the wall by the faucet. The left front water jet control pops out periodically when the I turn the whirlpool on. Plumber says it's a manufacturer's issue. And hard streams of water shoot straight out of the small holes on each side of the tub whenever the back jets are turned on. They hit my elbows or sides uncomfortably and splash water everywhere. They can't be adjusted. The tub takes about 10min. to fill and I did need a bigger water heater. The lever that is on the BACK of the faucet turns the hand held sprayer on and off. It's very hard to move up and down and is too close to the wall. The installation was very expensive. I'm hoping to find a way to be able to really lean back and enjoy it.. was so looking forward to it!

Is there a water temperature regulator. I like my water really hot and I only used hot water and the water wasn't hot enough. The water in the house was hotter than what was filled in the tub. Does the inline water heater automatically come on. HOw does the shower fixture work? There was NO manual to explain all these things and the posted here is just how to care for the tub. MY tub was installed as a new install on a new house and I was there when the tub was delivered and there was NO Use manual.

this tub does not come with all of the pieces to hook up the drain you have to drill your own holes on top to put in the faucets mine didn't come with all the leveling legs I would not recommend this tub to anyone unless you want a headache installing it

Tub is awesome.

The installer day it was easy to install and drill the holes. The only problem we had was with the curb side delivery and getting it into the house.

There were not enough manuals & schematics. Had to call tech support several times trying to figure out how to do something. There were parts that did not work and had to get them shipped to me. Delay, delay, delay.

I had a licensed Contractor install this tub.

The tub meets my expectations and easy to get in and out. I feel more confident

first they delivered wrong tub. then the plummer had ahard time to assemble the many parts. then my first bath, the drain did not work. I almost broke my neck tring to get out tub full of water. I am 78 and the whole process has been a nightmare.

Easy to install and best price I could find anywhere

This tub has been a wonderful addition to our home. I have had back and neck surgery and the jets really relaxes my muscles. It was not that easy to install as a DIYer. I would advise hiring a electrician and plumber (which we ultimately did) because you need separate and single circuits for the pump and heater. It was all well worth the extra expense, the tub is wonderful.

I love the top always liked American Standard products not very happy with the faucet and shower assembly kind of on the cheap side
