Beautiful Retro Bath Sink- American Standard Retrospect
American Standard Retrospect 27" Bath Sink installed on matching chrome console base. Perfect fit and finish to update my 1929 vintage bathroom. Ordered sink through Home Depot on-line, shipment came in on time and in perfect condition, double boxed with lots of foam packaging protected the original box/packaging from American Standard. Installation was perfect following instructions provided, finished off with HD American Standard faucet for perfect vintage look in modern hardware. This is a very sturdy yet stylish sink.

Great value & look
We bought this as an affordable option for a console sink versus the Kohler model and it turned out great! The sink and base are pretty solid and sturdy, plus look/feel great. We put it together in 30 mins! Shipping was really quick too.

Fits with 1940s style bath
Not cheap, but it doesn't look cheap or out of place in my home, which is a 1940s bungalow. I'd by it again! Got the stainless legs, which look awesome.

Cracking is a real problem with this sink!
I mean, what do you do with a sink other than use it for shaving, washing hands, brushing teeth? Well, no so for me. This sink started leaking, and led to the discovery of cracking around the drain. I am furious this investment of almost $400!! didn't last even 10 years. And now, even just to replace the basin is almost $250. I love it, but terrified I will have the same problem in another 7 years. Sucks!

Pretty sink, didn't last long enough
Bought this sink (but with a wooden base w/a drawer) for a full bathroom reno. Loved the look. Loved the size. Loved the ledge space around bowl. Took really good care of it. Unfortunately, about a year ago the glazing starting cracking all over. I know nothing lasts forever but it went from beautiful to bad in less than 10 years.

The shape and quality is excellent, butdisappointed that the “white” expected looked more like “bisque” in color. I reordered wondering if there was a mistake; second had same issue. Disappointing since I intentionally purchased a toilet of the same brand (American Standard) to match in color.
