This is a nice faucet. We have lived with it for three weeks, and our favorite two features are the fantastic spray pattern and the clean overall aesthetic. Installation is typical and exactly what I expected. I have a full installation video and a short overview video. Here is the full installation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azPtukVdLZo The handle does not retract as smoothly as I would expect, but I have definitely gotten used to it; the hose inside is rough and adds too much friction for fast, smooth retraction. The handsome design is the highlight for me, whereas this is my wife’s favorite sprayer of all the faucets we have had. Be sure to double check the hose-to-nozzle connection—ours came preassembled, but came off while she was using it; I hadn’t even thought to check it. It has been two weeks since the shooting water incident and it has not loosened at all, so I chalk it up to installation error and encourage you to check yours when you get it. The swivel spout is nice, and expected, but I wish the water temperature handle did not swivel the spout when I move it from hot to cold water. Overall a nice faucet with a perfect spray—not too hard that it makes a mess but hard enough to clean well.

This nicely styled kitchen faucet is simple to install. At the base of the fixture are four hoses. Two medium length hoses them are for the hot and water supply and are color coded with red and blue marks. A long hose supplies mixed hot and cold water to the sprayer and it is connected to the short hose after the faucet is installed in the sink. Splitting the hose this way makes for easy installation through a relatively small hole in the sink. In use a single control turns to adjust temperature and pivots to control rate of water flow. The control on the spray handle switched between a stream and a high velocity spray which works well for dislodging stubborn food residue from plates.

My laundry room basin needed a faucet with a pull-out-handle feature with a sprayer option. This American Standard faucet fit the bill perfectly. The polish chrome finish is lovely and the faucet adds a nice style to my laundry room. Installation was very easy and took less than half an hour, mainly because I wanted the basin clean before I installed this new faucet. The instructions were wordy but clear. The sprayer is not the same material as the faucet and feels very light, which is fine and my hands don't need the extra weight when using the sprayer. The ability it extend the sprayer and choose spray options makes up for the body difference. The sprayer will allow me to wash dedicates and heavier soiled materials better.

This American Standard Studio S Pull Out kitchen faucet in chrome is a very trim and functional modern eyepopper for a 1 ½ inch single hole application. This is a nice high-quality faucet. There will rarely be a case where the kettle you want to fill won’t fit under its 8-inch height above sink rim and in those cases just pull out the spray to increase the height. It is also easy to install in countertops up to 2 ½ inches thick. The clearly marked hot and cold supply lines and the spray connections are braided stainless and straightforward. The only caution is to orient the spout and the operating handle so that the range of motion is equal each side of center. The faucet is also pretty heavy and combined with the height and reach results in a lot of leverage that has to be counteracted at the base. This is a great choice for the new granite, marble or quartz countertop.

The install didn't take long and the instructions were written well with pictures. Installation took about 40 minutes total for me but this was due more to the original faucet having some stubborn mounting hardware that didn't want to come loose during removal. The extending feature is very useful for cleaning dishes as well as any other uses. It stretches much further than my sink basin, but I don't have any use for it outside of the basin. This is a stylish and functional stainless steel faucet that has made us consider changing out our sink basin to keep up with it's great finish. Very nice!!!

American Standard has had some excellent faucets in its lineup and this one is okay, but lacks the attention to manufacturing detail that I've come to expect from them. On the plus side its low-profile design and protruding spout depth from its mount helps the faucet to fit more applications than other models. On the downside, the top handle fell off prior to mounting because the manufacturer had not secured it properly; it took a tiny angled allen wrench to re-attach. The body swivel feature tends to lock in one position when swiveled. The braided supply lines provide too much friction for the 90^ angled faucet head to fully retract on its own using the included gravity weight but the head does retract and lock in place if stuffed in to its mount by hand. This faucet is reminiscent of the frustrating, hanging head design of previous generation pull-out faucets. For single hole mount applications only; no cover plate escutcheon included for 3 hole sinks. There are better choices on the market.

The American Standard Studio S Single-Handle Pull-Out Sprayer Kitchen Faucet with Dual Spray in Polished Chrome lacks the quality I have come to expect from American Standard. First impression, out of the box, is that it has a cheap, plastic feel. That is not a good thing considering the price point on this faucet. Assembly is straight-forward but more difficult than other faucets I have installed. The yoga moves required to access and tighten all of the screws under the sink was not a pleasurable experience. Again, at this price point, many of the competing faucets have gone to a simpler install method that minimizes time spent under the sink. Another disappointment was the lack of a mounting plate. This style of faucet usually gives you the option of using a deck plate to accommodate sinks and counters with standard three hole setup. This is something that every buyer needs to be aware of or you may be forced to return it. Once installed and operational all functioned well. Smooth swivel and good water pressure. Clearance for large pots may be a problem if you don’t have a deep sink. This faucet is really for the person that doesn’t do much cooking. Overall, I think there are much better options out there at this price.

This American Standard Studio Kitchen Faucet is a good quality and elegant looking one compared to the price. It is easy to install and one handle is very convenient to use. The sprayer head seems to be plastic, and it has a button at the bottom to turn the spraying mode. It also extends like other kitchen faucets. The chrome shines well and the tip of the faucet is long enough to reach your sink (I have had problems with shorter ones before)

This faucet by American Standard has a single handle with a dual spray. There is a toggle to switch for stream or spray. It is a solid with a chrome finish that is very bright and shiny. The height and length of the faucet provides good clearance for large utensils. The pulling of the spray handle was tight and raspy but I think that it was minor. May be over time the hoses will rub easier. The faucet comes with hoses attached and it was quite easy to install.

The good is this faucet has the American Standard quality and a beautiful finish. Pull out sprayer goes easily from spray to stream function. Swivel spout rotates a full 120 degrees. Supply hoses are a generous 21” long. Like the sleek profile as it eliminates the areas where dirt build up can occur. Sprayer is locked into place making for a really great design. Now to the negatives. Faucet is very low to sink. Instructions are confusing as they state you need plumbers putty or caulking. Then as you read the instructions they state not to use plumbers putty? Huh? Confused, me too! For these reasons I can only rate this faucet three stars.

This faucet is a good fit for my kitchen countertop, which is 1.5 inches in thickness. Installation is similar to any similar products. Clear instructions came with the faucet should be closely followed. The faucet is made of high quality material. Stainless steel, aluminum, copper is the main material. Plastics is used minimally. This ensures the longevity of the faucet. The pull out is easy to use. However, due to 90 degree angle from the horizontal tube to the vertical tube transition, the hose rubs with the wall of the tube every time the spay head is pulled out and pushed back in. I am not sure what this will do to the hose, but it sure put some wear on it since the weight down there adds more to the friction. The long term effect is yet to be seen. I consider this to be a long term concern. Fit and finish is top notch. It functions wonderfully.

I wanted something a little different and the AMERICAN STANDARD STUDIO S SINGLE-HANDLE PULL-OUT SPRAYER KITCHEN FAUCET WITH DUAL SPRAY IN STAINLESS STEEL, SILVER fit the bill. Being American Standard you know it will be quality built. Installation is simple enough for DIY'ers with the supply lines built in. The bad thing is no escutcheon plate comes with it.

This review is for the AMERICAN STANDARD STUDIO S SINGLE-HANDLE PULL-OUT SPRAYER KITCHEN FAUCET WITH DUAL SPRAY IN STAINLESS STEEL, SILVER. I've known the American Standard name for over 50 years, they have always been a reliable Co. and they have a long tradition of making quality products. This pullout faucet was ordered for my new cast iron laundry sink. My wife & I wanted the pull out feature to be able to fill a large bucket on the floor in front of the sink. The instructions are in English, French & Spanish & have drawings for clarity. I'm not sure why in the recommended tool section it says you need plumbers putty or caulk when the instructions say NOT to used them. It instruction also say you need a flat head screwdriver, you don't, just a Philips, & the last tool you'll need is either an adjustable wrench or small slip joint pliers. In my case, with the sink being very deep, I put the faucet on before I mounted the sink it self. The supply lines are 21" long from the faucet base, if you need extensions you'll need to buy them. The thickest counter top that this unit can be used with is about 2 3/8". From the back of the riser to the tip of the sprayer is 10 3/4". The faucet is 11" high. I should mention that the supply lines themselves are a nice braided Stainless Steel, which is great as I don't want to be the one that'll have to take out this faucet in the future due to my sinks 12" + depth, there is almost no room to move behind it!...another reason why I went with American Standard...this thing has to outlast me LOL!

The idea and design of this American Standard Studio S Single handle is great but the functionality and quality seems a bit degraded. The section where the hose for the pullout connects is too close to the mounting area (see picture) leaving less room for the hose to move freely so it is harder to pull out and return the hand sprayer. The section that holds the hand sprayer seems easily to wear out and having the faucet for two days the handle already looks binding. The main nut the hold the entire faucet (see picture) has good idea but it is harder for installer. The spray is very small but the look is very good. Not sure how long this faucet will last so I am definitely keeping my old faucet just in case.

Replaced my old kitchen faucet with this nice contemporary looking one. The removal and installation of this faucet was quite easy and took about 30-40 minutes. The faucet was supplied with everything necessary to function. The supply lines are color coded for both hot and cold and connected easily to the angle stops. The faucet body dropped through my granite slab counter top without a hitch and tightening ring was easy to thread and tighten most of the way, then used the three set screws to finish tightening. I really like the clean appearance of the faucet, the stainless steel finish, and the fact the handle is located at the top. The spray button is cleanly incorporated along the bottom of the handle further giving the faucet a sleek appearance and works well. My only gripe is how low the handle and head of the faucet is over my sink, which is about 7.5 inches. This could be problematic for washing or filling taller pots or containers without pulling the pulling the handle out of the faucet. I wish the faucet was a bit taller, perhaps another 2-3 inches but even at its current height should be quite functional.

The American Standard Studio S Single-handle pull-out sprayer Kitchen Faucet with dual spray (polished chrome color) is great! I love it. It installed very easily and works like a charm, way better than the one we replaced. I attached a couple photos but it does not do justice for the way the faucet works! The dual sprayer is really nice and is easily controlled. Under the handle is where the sprayer function is, tap the front-most section and it does a gentle overall spray; touch the back-most section and it is a steady stream. Extremely easy to use, and I love the fact you can pull out the handle to reach everywhere! Highly recommended and very nice looking!

All necessary parts for my installation were included. Directions and hook up was straight forward (except for caulk/putty in recommended tools, but directions state not to use putty?). It took twice as long to remove the old faucet than it did to install the new one. I would only recommend that the above counter hardware be packed separately from below counter hardware - the rubber seal and rubber washer can be easily mixed up. Beware - the escutcheon/deck cover is not included - I inquired and they don't even make one. But otherwise, flawless.

Great faucet for 18 months
Nice looking, easy install. Have owned it for around 18 months and the sprayer head has failed twice, one time it was clogged with particulate and wouldn’t keep the spray/stream setting and now whenever it’s on the spray setting it makes a VERY LOUD buzzing noise It would be nice if it could continue working for even 3 years, all replacement parts are out of stock

studio is easy to install. great looking too. this faucet replaced a koehler forte faucet where the pull out spray wouldn't stay put. i bought this one also because the flat lever prevents water from running down the back of the faucet every you turn it off. i was wearing a hole in my sink and my granite from having to mop up after every use. the studio s prevented that, thus extending the life of my sink and granite it's a well built great looking faucet. go buy one.

    Good quality kitchen faucet
Very solid, good quality faucet. We are limited in what height of faucet we can fit in our kitchen, so we were glad to find this one that's tall-ish but not as tal as most of the faucets available now.

    Fell apart within 2 weeks.
This faucet with the extendable hose fell apart. Using the hose to rinse dishes, the hose detached and fell into the faucet housing, nuts fell off and parts fell inside. I'm removing the faucet and returning it to Home Depot never to but American Standard again and sticking to Kohler or Delta. This horrible faucet cost $208!!!
