The tool is what it is and works as indicated. Not good for small plumbing spaces but the socket can be used on a ratchet which provides better torque and accessibility. TBH overpriced by about double considering if this was sold as a bit you could buy a breaker bar for half in total.

Tool had been used prior to my purchase. Large force required to cut clamp. Better to pry back tab on clamp or use a dremmel. All other Apollo products have been great.

Bought this to replace some fittings that had degraded and was not sure how well it would work. However I was surprised it worked very well - one quarter tryn broke the old cinch fitting easily. Great tool.

Worked like a charm! First time ever using one and had no problem using it.

I appreciated that tool could provide the leverage needed for clamp removal and when I was working in a tight spot I was able to use a shorter socket driver. The tool driver part could be sold without the bar since it’s compatible with sockets and I already have a few drivers and cheater bars. The tool is pretty simple and easy to use.

Excellent tool for removing pinch rings. Does exactly as it describes.

This is a relatively easy way to remove clamp bands from PEX tools. The are essentially sheared off through torsional force. This is not always a clean process, and can leave sharp edges. The arc of the twisting motion makes it difficult to use in small spaces. It is, however, fast and uncomplicated. If heated with a heat gun the PEX will expand and slide easily off the fitting. The tool appears sturdy. I feel it was a good purchase overall.

Needs a better edge or something, if it’s a small piece you’ll play heck with it

The tool works well when you've got a lot of space to turn it. However, I almost always find that the fittings I need to replace are in a wall, under a cabinet, or some other place where there's not enough room to use this tool properly. I've tried several tools for removing pinch clamps, and the best I've found so far is a very small pair of bolt cutters.

I was eerie about buying based off reviews. Bought it in case I had any trouble removing the clamps and was glad I bought it. Worked great, pricey, but beats not having it for sure.

Functions as it should. Makes Pex Pinch Clamp removal an easy affair. Happy i made this purchase.

Handy tool, works well. Only shortcoming is no provision for retaining spare removal socket, missing before I had a chance to find a secure place for it.

Tha handle was unnecessary; you should sell only the end piece which can be used with a 3/8s drive ratchet

While the tool id useful in releasing the clamps, it would be more effective if the tool could be locked around the entire fitting so that all movement of the hand would be directed directly to the clamp/

It was a piece of junk, I returned it. Instead of removing the clamp it mutilated the hose. It is much easier to use a Dremel to cut it off.
