The staples are fine but I ended up using 1/4"...
The staples are fine but I ended up using 1/4" staples for my project which was assembling a set of car seats. The reason for the shorter staples is they were going into hard wood and would only penetrate a little under 1/4" and I had to drive them flush with a hammer.

Hello - These are Arrow's best-selling all-purpose staples and should be suitable to penetrate a variety of materials.
