So easy to install. Love the soft close lid. And most of all, I love the brushed nickle hinges. So tired of the plastic hinges that loosen and eventually break. Happy with this purchase. Oh, and super fast shipping.

Had to replace existing bemis weston because paint chipped off and hardware finish flaked off. Would have gotten another brand but I decided to try same model again figuring the first one was a lemon.

Stiff hinges no soft close
Bought 4. All of them stop softly closing with gravity after 2 months. Now I have to push the seat down and manually separate the lid. On the way up the lid moves and bangs the back of the toilet.

Awful seat
Looks beautiful and sturdy but don’t let that fool you. Cracks easily. After a few months the white discolored so badly it never looks clean. I constantly clean my bathrooms and have scrubbed with bleach. Only positive is the hardware is very sturdy. Don’t buy. Had to replace within 6 months.

Seat Cracked
We bought this seat several years ago and love the style and soft close feature. The seat cracked a few months ago and we figured it was just a one off issue. We replaced the seat with the same model which has now cracked. To make matters worse, we replaced the seats on our other two toilets with this model and are now “sitting” on time bombs. I wish I had checked these reviews before I made the purchases. Ugh.

Not universal
This toilet seat does not fit a toilet with a curved tank. It wont allow the seat to stay up for boys to pee.
