I was excited to get this setup and get our entry way finished before Christmas, but very disappointed with the outcome. First, the assembly instructions were very confusing.. worse than Ikea. Luckily, I'm pretty experienced with furniture assembly and didn't really need to follow the instructions. Because I have limited space in the area I decided to assemble the cabinet, I removed the pieces from the box one at a time, and assembled as I did so. **My suggestion for anyone who purchases this is to remove and inspect ALL pieces before assembling anything!** As I was 1/4 of the way through and attaching the top and side panel, I noticed a defect in the material (a smushed corner/edge). I was annoyed but figured the drawer would cover up the damage, so I could live with it. I continued with the assembly. I then noticed some damage/discoloration to the other side panel... Do I disassemble and pack everything back up, spend time driving this back to the store to return it, then wait another few weeks for a new one, and begin this madness all over??? I decided the discoloration wouldn't be too noticeable and the hassle of returning it wasn't worth it. Time to attach the cabinet doors. MORE DEFECTS. There was surface damage to both doors, and the front of the drawer. By this time, my 9 month old had woken from his nap, there are styrofoam beads everywhere, I am furious and also out of time to continue with the assembly. Long story short, the fully-assembled cabinet stands in my entry ONLY BECAUSE I did not want to bother with the hassle of returning it, and I had some spare paint from another project that matched pretty well. Needless to say, this is the last furniture product I'll be purchasing online from this manufacturer. Very disappointed with the quality for the price I paid.

This cabinet has excellent features (ample shelves, nice top drawer) and is attractive, however, with the exception of the hinges, it is made of cheap materials. The hinges are strong and easy to adjust. I bought 2 cabinets but had to replace one. It had significant damage (dented and scratched panels) and many workmanship issues (several knobs had buffing cloth stuck to them). Inspect all your pieces before you start assembly and decide if any damage you see is something you can touch up easily with a furniture pen. Instructions are not great but do help. Don't put your shelving pegs in until the end as they fall out anyway since the holes are too big. If you want the cabinet to be more solid, you can add some wood glue in strategic places. You should also plan to do your assembly outside or in the garage as the packing materials make a mess. Overall, I would say I got about what I expected for $159. I was hoping for better but furniture is so expensive now.... I decided to keep mine you might not.

This is a very decorative idea for hiding shoes in an open area. The only negative that I have and why it didn't get five stars was because the instructions were horrible. My neighbors 5 year old could have done a better job. It only took about 90 minutes to put it together. The pieces were sturdy putting them together.

This is not the same size in this photo that is being advertised!! I am very disappointed

None of the pieces are labeled, none of the hardware is labeled, and the instructions tell you absolutely nothing. I would never buy this product had I known this.

It is a nice piece of furniture for keeping your shoes. My husband is a pro in reading instructions so we were able to assemble it within 3 hours, including unpacking all the parts.

Took about 2 hours to put together. It is heavy/sturdy. Looks nice. Has a strange artificial smell, even weeks later and after wiping it down with dust cleaner.

I like the design, and the product is very high quality.

Instructions weren’t the best but good quality. Strong and big. My old one of a different brand broke. It had metal pieces that I was afraid would cut my girls and flimsy. This one is week made. Very strong and not dangerous. Happy with my purchase.

The construction instructions were difficult to follow. Also, the finished product is not very symmetrical and unfortunately there are some screws which are visible on the outside, which Are jarring because they are bright silver on a black surface. Luckily for me it's located in an area that's not very well lit, so you don't see these flaws unless you really look.

The instructions were not clear. The instructions and drawings are not helpful at all. Took my husband 2.5 hours to put it together and he's a carpenter. Once it was together it looks real nice. It fit all of my sons size 12 high top tennis shoes....all 16 pairs!

What a great piece of furniture. Hides all the shoes that were such an eyesore in my mudroom. The instruction sheet, however, had much to be desired, could have been written much clearer and in a larger text, for sure.

Very beautiful, elegant!!! I'm very happy with this furniture.
