Good to welder even if is humidity in the pipes

I was amazed at the cheaply made.piece of junk that i paid seventy dollars for. Supposedly a high temp torch-really the tin foil head wrapped in plastic seemed more a childs toy. Make sure whoever gets this gem is patient as the in-op gas flow button is a bonus we all need in. A muddy trench covered in mud...thanx for not givin a rats

Purchased this torch to break loose a stuck bolt in the spindle of my commercial diesel zero turn mower. I tried a 6 foot breaker bar and a 1200 lb impact . Finally bought this torch and threw the heat on the huge spindle for about 20 minutes. Worked like a champ. Has a really hot constant flame.

Easy and versatile to use

Purchased this on April 30, 2018 and after opening the box, noticed the regulator valve was stained with spots. I returned it for a replacement. After getting the replacement, I used it a few times to de-solder pipes and when I used it again a few days later, the gas would not ignite. I can hear the gas but the igniter would not ignite the gas. So I returned it and purchased a TS8000KC Premium Torch Kit and that one I'm returning due to the torch head or tank thread connectors are warped. 3 Bernzomatic products with quality control issues. I hope the replacemnt TS8000KC Premium Torch Kit has no defects.

Perfect for the job.

product itself is good, fine torch and hose. The only reason it got a four were two minor issues, the torch flame is a little broad and the holster needs a better system to hold the torch that allows bending over.

Very nice torch. The hose makes a huge difference.

Heat output is exceptional but unfortunately two out of two torches would not ignite using the self ignite trigger. I appreciated having the hose kit in tight spots.

I had to replace a set of O2 sensors on a car. Sensors were seized in the holes. Didn't have an oxy acetylene torch readily available to heat up the o2 sensor bung. Used this torch and they came out like butter. Will be using this torch more often

I needed something to heat up and loosen some 60 year old u-bolts on an old truck I'm restoring. This did the trick. It doesn't get hot enough to cut anything but works fine for what I need.

I've done alot of copper work over the years using everything from the cheap $15 torch and propane to the expensive b-tank and presto. This torch heats fast, lights quickly, and has concentrated flame for tight spaces. This is a great torch when you're work in tight crawl spaces. You wont be disappointed.

The self light feature stopped working on the second of occasional use. Otherwise this product work as avertised.

Problems I experienced: 1. First one I bought would not light after one half-day's use. I had to exchange it. 2. The metal support for the cylinder on the holster is mounted too high. This makes it prone to tip when you're reaching with the torch. It needs to be lower and/or deeper to keep the cylinder upright. I think I'd have been better off hanging the cylinder from my belt with a carabiner or Velcro strap. 3. Hose is somewhat stiff. As I said, as with many products these days, it's not like the good ol' days when things were made well.

Such a good idea! Unfortunately, does not light easily. Gas pressure is lower because of the hose so flame isn't as intense as the directly connected torches.

Flame quality turned cool (all orange flame) at worst possible time during a solder job. Cylinder was in holster and full upright position, so possibly a regulator problem. Should come spec'ed with the shorter, squat cylinder, as it tips over on its own. Hose not entirely flexible, sort of defeats the purpose. Should have bought a Victor TurboTorch.

I bought this torch today and it works amazing. Simple to use

I used propane gas initially, which was less expensive and harder to use. When I purchased this product, It saved time and it was easier to use. This product was less expensive at The Home Depot than any other store.

This torch works very well, especially with the MAP fuel. BUT, the tall bottle keeps falling over, and the Holster is useless because it also tips over while you work. They should have supplied this torch with the smaller "Squat bottle as it is much less likely to tip over

This is a great product. It will heat and sweat solder a 1" copper pipe with no problem. So far I have soldered a Hundred joints and still have a little map gas left in the tank I been a welder all my life and the only distraction is the hose is a bit stiff for my personal comfort zone
