I bought this earlier this summer (2022) and have been moderately disappointed in its inability to cool effectively in the Texas heat. Yes, the fans are powerful at the cost of noise, but the evaporative cooling doesn’t seem to add much, despite claims otherwise. For the price I expected more.

It’s good but it needs lots of water. It can be loud when you have it on high but once the room as cool down med and low levels are not as loud.

It helped cool in the 100 degree weather.

Love BAF products and own many. BUT I made an assumption here - BAF is known for its superior engineering that leads to exceptionally quiet fans. THIS IS NOT Close to Quiet. A near silent hum of a motor is about 45 decibels. This is 75- I missed this in the description. You can not talk to someone if they are near this fan. It also has a “turbo fan” sound (TWO) that is really cool as a workshop sound but the high speed whirls are annoying for a patio. The quality is great- the sound is a disappointment. Please know the product works as described- it’s just loud.

We ran this fan for a full day in our 2,000sq ft shop and it only brought the temp down 2 degrees and increased humidity by 30%. It was miserable. Not well suited for TN summers.

This is a great fan for cooling a large area. We have it in a 3200 sq. ft. shop with block walls. The heat is hot as can be in the summer. Its not uncommon to see 100 on the temp gauge. With the fan running and a small amount of outside air flowing through the temps will drop about 20 +/- degrees. So far and even in the triple digits, the fan is keeping our work area in the 80s. Much more comfortable than without this fan. I am very pleased with how easy it is to operate. There is some learning curve on adjusting the flow of water to get the max cooling. Its a very well built unit. The pump will shut off if the water runs low. Thats a nice feature. Price on this unit is a great value over others we looked at. Only con I have is that it is noisy but moving this much air is going to do that no matter. Not a deal breaker for sure. I am enjoying this purchase. Home Depot did a great job getting the unit shipped in and loading it for me when I picked it up. Big A Fans do need to rethink the packaging. The pallet only has a side fork area. This made it hard to put the unit on a pick up truck. With the size and length of the unit it should have the ability to fork it from the end for easy loading. If your in a hot shop or open air open shop and want a cooler work area, this unit will fit the bill. Even in hot humid areas like Arkansas it works great.

Good product, I run a baseball facility in IL that gets sticky & hot when air isn't flowing through big garage doors on the side of a pole building. This works but only if you're standing in front of it. Pushes a lot of air, uses a lot of water but wish it made the air cooler. Sound is quiet.

So far after about month of use it has been great. Does what it should cools off the space! Bought larger unit make sure will work more efficiently. Could be little louder on higher fun speeds, so it’s worth to heve bigger unit on lower speed for noise level. Also it is less expensive to buy from Home Depot then directly from manufacture!

The product doesn't disappoint. Works as suggested and probably better. Highly suggested!

They were easy to move around through doorways to different rooms where people were working to make the space bearable. Temperatures were above 120 degrees in the building during construction and the guys working in the building loved it when these things came it.

We use this in an old airplane hanger building, and combined with the fan unit we have hanging from BAF, it easily keeps the temps 10-15 degrees cooler than outside! Worth every penny.
