This is the second laser measure I've owned. The new one drains the batteries so fast. I went through several sets of batteries before I got finished measuring the house I was inspecting. Very disappointed in this one. Maybe it is just the particular measure. Would like to return it.

The product worked as advertised and is extremely accurate. Well worth the price. Only one recommendation / want. Being able to measure short distances in inches only instead of being limited to feet and inches.

It's great, I love it. It also measures angles and several other functions.

Cont see laser outside past 30’ also distance is in red and does not show good outside

Excellent little tool. I keep finding uses for it everytime I use it. Many functions yet to explore. So glad I came across this item. A real time saver in certain situations

bluetooth connectivity for measurements is a gamechanger. incredibly intuitive to use, hard to go back to a standard lase measure after this. Take a picture, draw a line, then press a button, saving the measurements. It's that easy! look at the youtube videos for tutorials on how to use some features, as this app packs a ton of features, not all of them are in the main menus.

Super handy to measure awkward areas. Bluetooth functionality is an added bonus. Colour LCD is nice - good resolution. If it goes on sale, great deal - buy it

Very accurate and easy to use but not very useful as it is designed for the general construction site as you can't change the default minimum units from 1/32”. I went out and measured all the rough openings for doors and windows on a project and when I got home I had to enter all the measurements into a Excel spreadsheet and then convert them from 1/32” to 1/8”. Framers and general construction people just don’t typically work or think in 1/32”. I exchanged it for a GLM400C because you can change the minimum units on it.

Every feature I have used has been awesome. There are so many I can’t wait to use the others.

Way more than I need, but that is so much better than not having a feature or accuracy that I do need. I have found it to be well within the variances stated. I have not downloaded the software and used the Bluetooth feature, so I have not experienced the frustration others have stated with the programme. In fact, every programme native on the unit is so easy to use on the colour display, it seems strange that the phone/tablet app would be difficult. . I had previously purchased the Bosch 100 ft. Laser Measure and found the display on that unit to be MUCH more difficult to read. The numbers are larger, in colour, and rotate to make it easier on these old eyes. On that point, reading outside in full light these eyes could not see the laser pointer at 10m (about 30'), but that's not my primary use (my only complaint with this product, maybe a green laser beam would be easier to see like my laser level). Solid little device that accurately and quickly provides measurements. The menu system is a little wonky, but the menu items are easily distinguishable. Device is especially handy if you need to get quick measurements for a room if you're getting new carpet/flooring. Makes the process much less tedious than pulling out a tape measure.

Just received my GLM 50CX and love it. However the holster is junk. I could barely get it in the holster the first time and it was not even on my belt. As a Project Mgr/Supt it will be in and out of a case many times a day. Hopefully I can find a suitable replacement. Plan for the additional expense and wasted time. Would have given it at least four stars if not for the poor quality holster.

Very handy, accurate and easy to use.

The Bosch exceeded my expectations. Very easy to navigate functions. Very user friendly for a multifunction tool. Read accurately even off of black surfaces in my darkroom. Auto orientation of the display works better than expected. Wish it had a waterproof rating like IP67. Only had it for about a month and haven't tried all functions yet. Cell phone app needs work or I just don't understand the instructions. May update this review later.

I haven't used this too much since I got it but every time I have needed it, it's fast, reliable and honestly, just a pretty cool tool. I would highly recommend this as no Bosch tool has ever failed me, and this is no exception.

I was always skeptical about using these digital readers until I saw a carpet installer use one to measure the area I was getting carpet in. Then I saw another when he measured my attic space for insulation. So, I decided to buy this one because of the reviews I read. Well, I am so glad I did! It took me long enough to buy one, but I love my Bosch Laser Measurer!!! I recommend this item to anyone who has to measure square areas accurately or any distances accurately. Yes, this one works awesome!
