All plastic not able to tighten and change temp very well.

it feels too fragil.like its going to break.

The little nub on the plastic piece breaks very easily with gentle use, rendering the entire thing non-functional. The piece ought to be made out of a much sturdier material.

Only lasted a few turns comes loose cannot tighten had to get a new one

Although it is priced reasonably it it cheaply made.. it does not last, I have had to purchase this too many times to count because of how cheap the quality is.. if I could find one that would fit my tub fixture and better quality somewhere else I would purchase it elsewhere

Plastic not good at all

The plastic piece wears out easily.

plastic crap...... don't buy

Very easy to install, HOWEVER, lasted all about two months before the PLASTIC wore out and it no longer served it's purpose. This company sells a metal version online which I now stumbled upon after purchasing 2 PLASTIC & ACRYLIC products from this company. Both absolute garbage by the way... how about you charge people a little more and make a product worth buying? Just a thought...

Actually, it fits poorly. Does not properly engage with the valve stem. The small, square piece shown is made of soft nylon and the nub on the top is to engage with a hole in a Mixet valve stem and snug the handle up so that it will not slip when operated. It does not fit well and the handle does not cinch up tightly as the old, metal handles form Mixet used to. I believe it is because the track that it is drawn up into (the square thing) is completely flat, tightening the screw only brings it closer to the handle and does not elevate it so that the nub can properly engage with the hole in the valve stem. Perhaps the addition of a slight elevation, such as a ramp, will fix the problem?

This entire assembly is crap. I work as an apt maintenance tech for 135 units, and I replace one of these almost every week. We buy them in bulk because they wear out so readily and need to be replaced so often. Buy a better quality valve assembly and reject this garbage

Went in 5 minutes took longer to get tool

Purchased this and it didn't even last me one month. I have to purchase another one, this time I will just replace the whole thing....

Fit well and was a replacement for a broken one.

Lasted 2 months. Chrome paint on plastic, will be useless in short time. Buy a real metal handle instead.

Purchased it as backup parts

The handle & the screw are good but could be better if the little plastic white part that connects to the stem was made better (either out of brass, metal or something more durable) Because it is the thing that wears down very fast due to the small tip on it. If it can't be made out of a better material (& no one makes it in anything other than plastic - so far). If it can't be made out of other material than maybe it could be sold by itself only - instead of wasting the big kit. It seems a big waste when 80% of the time the large handle does not break & does not need changing, whereas the little white plastic part is the one item that weras down always.
