I want to get a digital angle gauge to setup my Band Saw table and Miter Saw to make sure that when making adjustments to the a pacific angle. I didn’t really trust the angle indicator on some of the saw I was using. The Carpi Digital Angle Gauge is accuracy is +/-0.1 for 0 degree and 90 degrees,. All other degrees +/-0.2 degrees. The unit has a automatic LCD backlight that stays on for approximately 30 seconds with no movement to the unit. Then after approximately 5 minutes of no movement the read out will shut off. It comes with a carry case to store the unit. It has a magnetic on the bottom side only not the other sides of the gauge. It would have been nice to have it on either side. The magnetic is strong to help secure the unit to the blades. It comes with one AAA alkaline battery. The manufacture stated that the battery should last for 50 hours of continuous working without back-light. A great tool that you need to setup your saws with. Product is made in China. I couldn’t find if has a warranty for this product.

I purchased this product to use in laying track on my model railroad. It works very well for this purpose.

FANTASTIC!!!! This is an awesome little gauge for setting up saw blades (table saw & mitre saw). The body is magnetic so it will stick right to the saw blade. First, you place the gauge on your saw table and zero it out. Then attache the gauge to the blade and crank the blade to the desired angle. No more guessing or trusting the crude gauge on the saw body.

The Capri two inch digital angle gauge is a neat measurement tool that has assisted in setting up my table saws miter angles. With the manual zero, I can reference the blade's beveled settings to the table top for accuracy of cut. Similarly, I've been able to perfectly set my drill press table perpendicular to the drill bits for true 90 degree holes in wood and metal. I've also been able to use the auto function (default when turned on) to check other areas of my workshops operations for plumb and level adjustments (work tables - tool storages - hanging racks, etc.). Overall, the backlight LCD works well, but find the need to look squarely at the display for full readability. Overall, this is a nice shop tool that can also assist around our home projects!

Works well. Could be better with magnets on adjacent sides.
