I have used many of the lighter duty Carlon boxes without problems. This is my 4th - 4 gang box, all of which broke in some way. Since this was a recent purchase, I took this one back. The prior 3 had one or more of the restraint tabs break off while pulling wire. This time the mounting bracket broke. I have switched to the Allied Moulded Products heavy duty boxes.

These are solid boxes and don’t flex nearly as much...
These are solid boxes and don’t flex nearly as much as the thinner plastic ones. Plus there’s a tab on the other end since it’s such a long box. Essential for a box of this length. There’s also plenty of room for wires, being as it’s 3.2” deep.
