Small welder
Unit works great, poor ground clamp. Does not come with wire or tips, so gear up. Great for around house small projects.

Junk
This machine is pure junk. Very poor quality. Never could get it working brand new straight out of the box. I don’t recommend this product it’s JUNK. Don’t waste your time or money with this product. Good Luck on trying to get it going. Pure JUNK. I threw the whole darn thing in the trash.

    Total piece of crap
The first time I used this welder I welded for 10 minutes, took a break to get something and came back to weld. When I got back, the welder stopped welding. It had power and the wire fed out, but it wouldn't spark. Also the spool is terrible. It doesn't hold the wire, and the wire works itself off. And it's very difficult to thread the wire into the feed--especially when working outside on the ground. I sent the thing back and am getting something else.

        Best welder!
I used to have to go over to my dads and use his 1k plus welder that’s hooked up to gas and you honestly don’t need gas or an expensive welder. I’m so glad I trusted the reviews and spent a quarter of the price.

VERY LIGHT WEIGHT, that is the best positive thing I can say about the welder, only good for very small repairs and overpriced.

            Awesome welder that works awesome.
I've had this suitcase size welder for a while now and hav used it for many projects, and it gives professional results. I just used it to weld a tube steel wall, and I was able to put it on with the strap and take it up with me on the ladder. I love this thing because of the size, results, and ease of use.

Great little home unit. Very adjustable voltage and speed to help dial it in for the different types of materials.

                      Save your money
I'm learning how to weld and wanted a basic machine to have at home. After lots of research, I had decided upon a Lincoln Electric product but saw this Century on line and in the store. After reading the reviews and talking with the "welding pro" at home deport, I decided to save a few bucks and bought this welder. It's very light, easy to set up and I thought it would be the perfect home use machine - not so much. After struggling with it for several hours, I was unable to lay a proper bead that I was able to do using my welding instructor's (a professional with 40 years of experience) machine. He double checked how I had set up the welder, attempted to use it and had bead issues as well. He determined there was a wire feeding issue that caused the wire to "pulse" making it impossible to have a consistent bead. The construction of the Century machine severely limits the "users" ability to make adjustments to correct the wire feeding issue. I returned the welder to Home Depot (received a full refund) and bought the Lincoln Electric 125 HD Weld Pak the same day. I set up my new machine in minutes and it works perfectly.

                        no parts available
works fine but there are no parts to replace it, if a part is lost I have to buy the whole unit again
