Not what I hoped for!
The seat is narrower than the toilet itself although I was told that it was the correct one for my model. Also, the seat is too narrow in the center opening and is not comfortable to sit on. If I had not thrown away the old seats, I would be returning these!

It doesn’t fit the toilet I ordered for it to...
It doesn’t fit the toilet I ordered for it to go on (American Standard Champion 4, chair height with elongated seat), but of course, the seat arrived about a month before the toilet, so I couldn’t tell until last week when the toilet had finally arrived, and was installed, that there was a problem. But now I’m living with it, because I don’t know how to find/fit another toilet seat. So I’m disappointed, but living with it.

The bowl of the Champion 4 that I purchased had...
The bowl of the Champion 4 that I purchased had a slow fracture leak on the underside of it. I tried returning it to the store and they would not accept it because I did not have the box anymore. It was installed in a customer's home and found to be leaking from a fracture crack days later after the box was already disposed of. Now I am stuck with a defective toilet (an expensive one at that) with what I am told is no chance of a refund.

We had the same model for almost four years and...
We had the same model for almost four years and the slow-close suddenly stopped working. So we replaced it with the same model. The installation is easy. Hope the new one will last longer.

These items are overpriced and cheaply made. I have already thrown them out and purchased better quality seats from Target. I feel cheated into believing somehow these expensive seats would be worth the price. They aren’t by a long shot.

I didn’t like that the seat area closest to the hinge does not cover the rim fully. The best was I can describe it is the seat is “tapered”. I’m replacing it with another brand.

The plastic hardware they send was inadequate and kept loosening. The seat developed a crack within a week after purchase. I went to the store and bought a Bemis. Much better quality. Will never buy American Standard again.

Sorry that I am late with my review, but I had to wait to have someone do the installation. I do not have a problem with the quality and color of the product, but I do have a problem with the fit. It is a bit too narrow and doesn't look quite right. Now wish I had tried to find someone to refinish the underside of the old wooden seat (and still might) as otherwise.it still looks new.
