    FIRE HAZARD
This light worked OK for about 6 months until today. The led melted and started smoking, giving off seriously nasty fumes. Do not buy this light, unless you want your house to burn down! Luckily I was in room with it, before it started a fire. I also see that I'm not the only one with this issue. The seller wants us to call a number for a replacement?! No way! Shame on you Home Depot for continued sale of this potential lethal product.

      Fire Hazard
The entire unit melted and emitted noxious fumes throughout my house. Seems like a serious fire hazard and health risk. The entire casing is plastic. Definitely do NOT recommend!

ALMOST KILLED ME AND MY FAMILY
Bought this death trap from my local Home Depot store. Burnt itself without even being on while giving off poisonous fumes that caused my whole family to get sick. Amazed Home Depot put their name on this potential family killer.

          Melted and caught fire
I own two of these fixtures and was initially very pleased them. Today one of them melted and caught fire. Luckily we managed to kill the power before it caught the ceiling joists on fire.

After living with one small light in my 10x16 shop, I decided to purchase a couple of these. They are easy to install, and they can be plugged in together. They are very bright and lit up my small shop well. Each one has its own pull chain which has its advantages and disadvantages. I might put them on a circuit and control them all but for now, the pull chains work. Overall, I’m happy with these lights and I’ll probably end up getting a couple more.

As advertised. Easy to install. I got two of the 4 ft and one 3 ft for my sewing room. Really brightens up all the corners, etc. Hope they last. I've only had them up about a week. I also bought two of their 2 footers and put one in the closet and one under my shelf where I iron. Recommended.

I purchased this light to replace a double 4' fluorescent fixture in my unheated garage. The fluorescent bulbs had burned-out. I replaced the fluorescent bulbs with LED bulbs, but the LED bulbs would not illuminate in the older fixture. I then replaced the fluorescent fixture with the LED shop light. The LED shop light is very bright (brighter than my three bulb fluorescent fixture) and illuminates immediately in cold temperatures. If it lasts anywhere near the advertised hours of operation, I will be very pleased. Sorry for the hazy photo.

Bought two of these for my workshop as a trial. Mounted them to the ceiling. The instructions state to place the mounting screws 45.33 inches apart. A third of an inch is, well, silly. Checked for the metric distance in the instructions - nothing. Measured it to be 115 cm. So, made a template from the card board box then mounted the screws and fixture. The other silly aspect to this fixture is the black power cord. White fixture on a white ceiling with a black power cord. Oh well, guess they can be sprayed white at some point. The light is bright, but not over powering. The fixtures are low profile so they have minimal impact on head room, which is important for the 8' ceilings in the workshop. Seems like a good, low cost solution.

Installed 2 of these yesterday in my garage they are light weight easy to install and very bright I replaced the bulbs in the ceiling fixture with two of these - WHT LAMP HOLDER TO OUTLET ADAPTER - item # 078477113523 @ $1.88 each- so i just plugged the power cord from the LED light into the ceiling fixture and that was it like I said very easy, ONE THING, however, packaging contains two hanging "straps" but no cup hooks to which to attach the wire loop end of the strap. I used dry wall screws and washers. Going to buy more and convert my basement lights and with the pull chain I can turn on only the lights I need.

These are great, I put three in my garage over a 20' work bench (in line about 2' space between each) they are so light I used used double sided tape to mount them (this double sided tape is a Home depot product, heavy duty, found in the paint dept) mounted fast and deliver excellent light coverage, minimum shadow on my bench. LED's have come a long way... this is a good example.. All this time I thought I couldn't see my work bench due to insufficient light... I can see now it's because it's just covered with stuff!

Extremely bright and spreads the light nicely. Not as effectively as a fluorescent tube but close enough. I replaced (2) T8 twin shop lights with 2 of these in my laundry room and it is brighter. I also like the 4000K color in the laundry room. I have purchased 4 more for my work shop. It does save a little electric but it will take years to make my money back based on the price. Don't buy this to save money on your power bill. That will take years. Buy because it is a cleaner, smaller and brighter light. Here is the breakdown: 2 - T8 shop lights consume 128 watts. Used 2 hours per day at .14 kWh will cost approx. $13/year to operate 2 - of these lights consume 60 watts. Used 2 hours per day at .14 kWh will cost approx. $6/year to operate Based on $50 for the new LED lights my break even point is about 7.1 years. Your milage may vary!

I bought 10 of these for my new 24x32x17 shop. I wanted good efficient lights, that was priced well for size, lumens, and color of light. These are it! easy to install, except when flush mounting I recommend pilot hole drilling in the center behind light and placed a 2" T25 screw that solidified my lights to the rafter. Linkable which was nice since I wired for three zones as I use what I need only. For the avid do-it-yourselfer, or the woodworker, to the auto mechanic, these give very sufficient light for the money. You will not be disappointed.

These are hands down the best value out there for a 4’ shop light. Incredibly bright and only 30 Watts. Less than half of the old two tube fluorescent fixtures I replaced. No more more annoying buzzing or flickering!

I got this to replace a failed 2 tube 40 w shop light. I believe it's just as bright. It's handy that it has the pull chain too. It can be hung by the included short cables or ceiling/wall mount with the supplied 2 screws. I have it behind a monitor wall in a video control room for working on equipment. I liked it so much I bought one for my workbench at home.

Great value, EnergyStar rated LED light strips. With the ability to plug in 4 end to end, I've replaced old fluorescent lighting. The light is very bright. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to space the screw mounts to align with standard joist/rafter spacing.

Love it. Straight out of the box, no set up. It's way brighter than the old shop light it replaced. I almost bought the more expensive one that lets you connect other lights in a row, but found this one to be bright enough for my needs (In the basement above the washer and dryer).

Great LED Light. I wired 9 of these together and covered my whole garage with them. They have the option of suspension or direct stud mount. I stud mounted mine and it was easy. Just follow the directions for spacing of the screws and they just slide into place using the keyhole mounts. Mine are hooked to an outlet that is controlled by a switch so I don't know how well the pull chain switch will hold up as I won't be using that feature. The LED's are bright white and light up the garage adequately.

                      I see the light!
I upgraded my old double bulb T12 40w fixtures for these today! Bought 8 of them and they are perfect!Great product and very bright for my workshop. I have outlets in my ceiling wired to a switch for my shop lights so I really like the pull cord so I can only use the ones I need where I am working. I would have given a 5 Star but why in the heck would you have a black cord on a white light!?! It's kind of an eye sore just hanging there.

                        A LOW PROFILE AND BRIGHT
This shop light is a cinch to install thanks to the keyhole slots for flush mount installation and the included metal cables for use to hang it like a typical shop light. The low profile modern design of this light made it ideal for my intended use. I screwed this 4 foot shop light to the bottom surface of a wooden shelf I have above a washer and dryer in my basement. The directional LED technology provides an uniform white light that lights up the whole area below the shop light. The pull chain switch works smoothly to turn light on and off and the outlet on opposite end of pull chain switch is a nice feature if you need to connect two to four of these lights together to light up a bigger area.

Fills the whole room with light and makes my life easier
Appearance: It is a bulb that uses LED. It has slots on the back for placing onto screws, which were included, as well as a longer extension chain but I won't need it. It is white in appearance and is surprisingly bright when turned on! I wish it had a switch instead of pull chain for turning it on and off, because I have had pull chain assemblies break in the past. But I now have the light hooked up to a power surge protector so I can hit the power button from there without issue. I found that when the light is plugged into a powered outlet and turned off, it still emits an extremely dim glow, you can only see it when the room is extremely dark, and I'm not really sure what that's about, but I just push the switch on my protector and it goes away. The light fills the entire garage, I was really surprised by that. Quality: It isn't the most durable-feeling shop light in the world, but it matches up with the price and it's really bright, not to mention it will last 45 years! I will be too old to care about it by that point, but as long as it lasts, I'll definitely be happy! Value: I believe the price falls right with the product. It exceeds my expectations and is really bright, and it was made to last a long time. Ease of Installation: two screws, a chain, what could go wrong?! It didn't include hooks for the ceiling, so you will need to figure that part out if that's where you want it. I put it on the top of my workbench with the two provided screws with pilot holes and it was really easy. It also came with a zip tie for organization purposes. Overall a great product and I look forward to using it for ... well ... the next 45 years.
