These are the best plants that I have ever had delivered from an online order, and that includes PW Direct. They are nice and healthy and full looking.

The plants for packaged perfectly. Plants have been in the ground for one month and look very healthy.

The picture they provide is accurate. Know that this is an investment in the future. It'll take 1-2 seasons to see the grass in its full glory. I've purchased other KF grasses on line and can say these are excellent specimens at a fair price (not less $ anywhere). I'm transitioning them in pots and will plant in the fall.

Had been looking for this specific type of grass for a while. Happy to find these small starts rather than having to buy gallon size since I was purchasing multiples of them. Arrived green and healthy.

These Karl Foerster reed grasses are shipped small (that's why we're paying this terrific price for 3 plants!). Indeed, when you receive them they will look tiny, a bit scraggly and possibly dormant. But have patience! I ordered 2 sets of 3 and planted them in July 2020 and they had very little green on them when they arrived, except down near the soil line. I was not worried though. I know these are rugged plants. It's now June 2021 and they look terrific! All six plants survived the rigors of a typical northern Michigan winter (not an easy winter climate for any plant to survive and come back to life in spring!) This spring, they're each about 32 inches tall (the green leafy part) and are all doing well. I planted them in front of my home to hide an ugly electrical transformer box. They get partial sun there. I planted them rather close together so they'll make a nice screen, which I expect to happen by the end of this growing season or the next. These plants did not get seed heads the first year. I read on a different website that's typical to not get seed heads until possibly the second or third. So again, have some patience. You will love them once they are established in the second and third year. Another nice feature about this grass is that the deer haven't touched them and just walk on by. I recently ordered 3 more plants to use as specimen plants near my front door and corner of the house. I'm excited to receive them. I can't emphasize enough how terrific the original 6 plants look in the second year. And I can't reiterate enough that you must have patience and let these plants take their time to do their thing. They will not look like the picture in the first year. If you are they type of person who simply must have an instant pop-up garden the moment you plant something in the ground, these are not the plants for you. But if you're a patient gardener/diy landscaper, you will grow to love them as they continue to grow and establish themselves in your yard.

Excellent healthy plants reasonably priced.

The plants appeared to be one large clump and could not be easily separated. Two of the six plants died. I later went to Home Depot and purchased new grasses-bigger and more vibrant for less money.

All healthy and in great condition.

Terribly root bound and the leaves were yellow. I'm not too hopeful.

I recd grasses in good condition. However i would not have purchased them if they had been sprayed with neo nicotoids. I will not order again because of the use of the spray.

Like other plants bought online, once received the plant was very small and some of the foliage was dry or brown. I have planted the grasses and they seem to be doing well, however, since they were so small, it is unlikely that they will appear like the photo.

I have purchased this grass in starters from other companies. These were further along and better packaged without going overboard. They are healthy and taking off well. I plan to buy more.

The Karl Foerster grass was delivered early, which is always nice. It came as expected and is, so far, doing well. I'm looking forward to seeing it grow over the coming year.
