Great, quality made tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own the 10" it is super comfortable in my hand and quality made. I wouldn't hesitate to put a pipe on the handle for stubborn bolts. Every back yard mechanic should have both these quality adjustable wrenches in their tool box. They work on both metric and standard bolts and fill in as a second wrench of any size, all you need is one set of wrenches with these. A lot cheaper than buying a second full set of wrenches. I think the 10" is just the right size for auto work and things around the house. I like the Crescent brand and wouldn't buy any other. I am my family's go to back yard mechanic and keep all the cars running, even the lawnmowers so I highly recommend this adjustable wrench.

    Never fails
Always works, had mine for well over 20 years. The teeth don't hold positions as well as it once did, so it is a little loose, other than that it still does what I need it to do. Can't go wrong

      Excellent wrench
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the 10” adjustable wrench because I needed tools to make a tool tote for my new side by side. This wrench is a good size and weight. It isn’t too heavy but you know you have it in your hand. I really like the fact that the jaws extend to 1-5/16 inches which makes it ideal for any of the nuts and bolts on my buggy. Another nice feature is the knurls on the adjustment so if my hands are greasy I can still adjust it with ease. The final thing I really like about the wrench is it has a nice wide handle to provide ample torque to release even the toughest nut

        10/10
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used the cheapest and the best of tools, and this crescent wrench, is definitely as good as they come. Straight out of the packaging you can tell it’s got a nice grip and easily adjusts. The quality and strength is remarkable. I had even used cheater bar with it where every other wrench I used has failed

          Great wrench!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The adjustable wrench has been great. So far nothing negative to say about it. This wrench feels good in the hands. It adjust easily and does not bind up. The teeth are hard and don't slip or self adjust.

Nice classic tool with a good hefty feel.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this to work up in the air working on old signs. Comes in handy when previous people have replaced every fastener with a different size. I love how this tool feels classic and new at the same time. It's got a nice heft. I'll be honest I've used this as a hammer more than a few times. It always adjusts freely with one hand. Hasn't let me down yet.

                Best Ever from Crescent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model is probably the heaviest 10" crescent wrench I own. Well balanced, and strong as ever. This model has the least amount of slack I have ever seen. Hands Down best "slide hammer", and yes with having a farmer background I did use it as a hammer.

                  Adjustable wrench
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this wrench around the house for a couple weeks now. It has a good heavy feel without being too heavy. The finishing on it is excellent, nice smooth edges but still able to hold a grip. It stays adjusted to where you put it and has clear easy to read measurements in both mm and inches, which are accurate.

The Crescent 10” Adjustable Wrench is truly great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Crescent 10” Adjustable Wrench is a truly great wrench, of exceptional quality and at a very reasonable price point, that is extremely well constructed, a very effective fastener tool, that is very easily utilized. I am a bio-analytical chemist, located in New York City, and have extensive experience with tool usage for the maintenance of laboratory instrumentation. I have used the Crescent 10” Adjustable Wrench daily since I received it. It has a very smooth adjustment that retains the setting, so that there is no need to do any re-adjusting while using it. The 10” Crescent adjustable wrench has metric and imperial laser etched markings, to indicate initial fastener settings. The wrench finish is excellently smooth on its surfaces, thus comfortable to handle even ungloved, with an easy to adjust knurled barrel, using your index finger and thumb, that remarkably stays set relative to the adjustment that was made. The wrench jaw surfaces, while under significant torquing, remain parallel, to tight and imperceptible tolerances, so that rounding damage to the nut and bolt head fastener surfaces is minimized or does not occur at all. The 10” Crescent adjustable wrench is a good fit for overall medium size usage, that provides 25 percent more torque than an 8” wrench, and just under 17 percent less torque than a 12” wrench, thus allowing under many circumstances to have the one 10” wrench rather than having to have both the 8” and 12” wrenches. There are arrows on both sides of the handle, that indicate the direction of torque application, for the ideal and safe usage of the wrench. The overall assessment is that, the Crescent 10” adjustable hard forged wrench, is of excellent quality, is flawless to adjust and utilize, allows for fastening jobs to be performed easily. I therefore, with absolutely no reservations, very highly recommend, the acquisition and usage of the, 10” Crescent adjustable wrench.

                      Reliable Classic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a well built wrench that feels substantial in your hand. Crescent has set the standard for adjustable wrenches and this wrench upholds that tradition. The wrench is easily adjustable with one hand and has a guide for which way to face the wrench on each side of the handle.

                        Awesome “Go To” Wrench!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Wrench is my new “Go To” wrench in my tool bag. Very easy to adjust and the jaws are very crisp so they stay on the fastener whether tightening or loosening. You can also hang it on your pegboard by the hole in the handle. I’m very pleased with this tool. You don’t have to carry multiple wrenches in your tool box because with this wrench you can do all size fasteners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The overall length of 10 inches is perfect for my needs. They are Heat treated forged alloy steel to last a lifetime. Has a jaw capacity of 1-5/16" so it works on a large variety of needs. The hex jaw design greatly reduces slippage by gripping fasteners tightly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The adjustable wrench feels heavy duty. I use it at work often. It seems to hold up tight on the bolt when i put alot of force on it. The jaws did not flex to cause rounding off. It adjusts very smooth and easily. Easy enough for 1 hand use.

I have 3 sizes of this wrench and while this one gets the most use I would suggest having a couple on hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 10” True Crescent wrench aka adjustable wrench is a great tool to have. I use it at a manufacture plant to build machines. This wrench has markings to tell you if the bolt or nut is metric or imperial. Along with what size if you need a wrench. But most likely this adjustable wrench will handle the job. The wrench is comfortable in the hand. Easy to adjust with your thumb. I highly recommend getting one.

                                                A precision engineered workhorse
I have seen less expensive adjustable wrenches of this size, but none as well made and this wrench, which lives up to the standards of the Crescent brand. The finish is excellent and when I put the jaws under tension by torquing a large nut they were parallel to better then a hundredth of an inch as measure by my digital calipers. Accuracy and finish aside, this tool is meant for hard work. My current house was part of a ranch and the property contains a wealth of junked farm equipment that I regularly harvest for metal parts for new projects. The monkey wrench I had been using would damage the nuts and bolts but this wrench gets the fasteners apart without damage. It is going to see a lot of use.

                                                Quality you can count on
Everyone should have a minimum of TWO wrenches in their tool box : big & small. I usually opt for a 12" an and 8". This gives me a good amount of flexibility to control and tighten/loosen the nuts i need to, fits into smaller spaces, and yet minimizes the need to carry a full accompaniment of all wrenches of all sizes. USE I've had and used Crescent wrenches my entire life. I can't think of ONE example of a time when someone uttered the words "i need a different wrench" or "please give me a wrench that works instead of this one." Not - a - one. This speaks to the quality and reliability of these Crescent wrenches. In my experience, paying more (and even double in some instances) is TOTALLY worth it when it comes to tools. Made in the U.S.A. and durability are both qualities that i seek when i look for tools for my workshop. QUALITY When your body is contorted under a kitchen sink at some strange angle, with your back not happy and about to give out, it's great to have a wrench to fit these tight spaces. This means the work gets done faster, and correctly, eliminating the need for multiple repairs. This 8" wrench is just as mighty and powerful as it's and larger cousin, yet has the ability to close tightly on a target nut, and does so with essentially ZERO wobble. The adjustment worm gear keeps the movable jaw tightly coupled to the assembly, allowing for quality changes in jaw size without the wobble and uncertainty of other knock-off wrenches. Win! SUMMARY A well formed adjustable wrench with decades of history behind it give the buyer of this wrench a "warm & fuzzy feeling." And when it comes to fantastic build quality, coupled with stellar performance, the total package gives you a new reason to add this old favorite to your workshop.

I'm very impressed with this Crescent Wrench. Generally, I don't pay attention to brand because of marketing, pricing, etc. This wrench is lighter weight than some others I've used in the past, and there isn't any play at all in the jaw. I've always laughed at the sizing marks for bolt heads/nuts because of the play in the jaws, it would give you an 1/8" or more wrong size from pushing the slide-jaw back and forth. This wrench is tight enough that the sizing marks are accurate. I couldn't get a good picture because of glare but other things like the direction of turn arrow that you can see are handy for people who don't know about turning the wrench the wrong direction can torque the jaw.

                                                Typical Crescent quality
My biggest problem with adjustable wrenches in the past was jaw wobble and jaws that would not stay parallel. Of course they were not Crescent either. The adjusting knurl is large and well knurled. There is a reference scale on the side with pointer on movable jaw that is pretty accurate and handy for presetting in awkward situation. Jaw opening is right on 1 1/8”. There is also an arrow on the handle showing the direction of torque for safest use of wrench and the grip is wide and heavy. And hey, they have a FOREVER guarantee.

                                                Crescent will get you un-wrenched.
Solid 8" forged alloy steel wrench with a nice sized handle. I really like the measurements (scale) on the side of the wrench so if I know the size of the nut I'm tightening/loosening, I can set it without have to put the wrench on the nut. My old adjustable wrenches have locks on them, but this wrench does not. The wrench doesn't slip, so I guess this one doesn't need a lock. Guaranteed forever per the packaging. Quality wrench, but 'Made In China.'

                                                Good Wrench for a Caterpiller
I got this wrench to work on my bull dozer. I have a set of big sockets in my shop but I wanted something that would fit in the tool box under the seat to have with me when I am actually working the Cat. Most adjustable wrenches are WAY too small for the big nuts on this dozer even though, I believe, that it is the smallest crawler that Caterpillar ever made. For a big wrench the adjustment action is very smooth. It feels incredibly strong. I have no doubt that the corners on the nut would round off before the wrench failed. I hate to admit it but in an emergency it looks like it also make a hefty pry bar.
