Good and Bad- 4 year follow up
I had a professional use Fusion Pro for my new shower install. He used it on the bathroom floor, shower walls and shower basin( floor). This work was performed in summer of 2017. After about 1.5 years I noticed the color started to loose its brightness. We do not use any harsh chemicals to clean the floor. Just soap and water is all that is needed. The color used was bright white. The floor bathroom floor tile grout looked great until the color changed to a kind of light dirty gray. Tried to cleaned the tile with a brush and soap and water but no change. The shower walls seem to be ok but again there is the grout color change like the the bathroom floor tile grout. The really bad issue is the shower basin/floor grout not only lost it's color but the grout was breaking up in the area where I stand and wash myself. See the photos uploaded. So I am doomed to keep repairing the grout with fusion pro unless I have a contractor come and rip out the floor and start over with super expensive epoxy based grout. I think after I do this repair and let the grout cure for 7 days I'm going to apply some thompson water seal to the grout and see if that makes a difference. I will keep this review updated.

      Follow directions and mix well
First and foremost, this herringbone project was time consuming and took some effort. Cut 12x12 Carrara Marble peel and stick vinyl tiles to 3x12. Arranged pattern to my liking using 1/8 leave in tile spacers (remove before grouting with vinyl peel and stick!!!!) that I cut to t and straight line pieces with a cutter. Used Fusion Pro artic white grout afterwards. This grout is different to use at first but follow directions and make sure to mix well first (my early troubles stopped after thorough mixing) and it becomes quite easy.

Great material if you’ve used something comparable like bondo or use a caulking/piping bag (or reloadable caulk gun tube)... but it’s notorious for shrinking. Once it shrinks you have to refill the low spots- so it’s at least simple: reapply before it’s cure (should be a no brainer). But for the price and coverage- this stuff is really expensive and I needed like 15 buckets for my house to account for loss. If your tile person isn’t experienced in this material you may need to cut the coverage by 25-50% and add time to your project. You can’t really do half a house and come back with a sponge like traditional grout- you get a 4x4 area and or a room at best before you break out the sponge.

Good for do it yourself people.
If you are doing your own grouting and take your time you will love this product, but if you are a contractor where "time is money" probably not so much. I do two to three small sections (maybe 3'×3' at most) and then change out my cleanup water and sponge. One picture is my kitchen which I am using the Charcoal color and the other is my bathroom I did earlier last year in Delorean Gray. Highly recommend if you have patience you won't be disappointed!!

          TERRIBLE PRODUCT!
We worked so hard and cautious to remove an ugly outdated green shower only to be let down by this product on our shower pan. We used river rock and sealed it after installing with mastic and again after grouting. We let it dry several days in between and then another couple weeks before actually using the shower while the shower tile was finished. To our dissappointment, the grout is actually absorbing the water like a sponge and the entire floor needs redone at our cost and will be challenging to remove We definitely do not recommend and dissapointed Home Depot would continue to carry an inferior product having now seen so many other troubling reviews!

Looks nice, but not incredibly to work with.
I am glad I didn't have a larger area to do because this took quite a while. You need to work quickly but I found this so difficult to spread and fill the lines. This is my first time with pre-made grout so maybe they're all this thick and dry. I will use traditional grout next time. Overall though the results do look nice.

I would have given this product 5 stars except for 2 reasons: (1) it's unavailable in the store in the quart size so i had to wait for the product to come in, which delayed my project and (2) one of the quarts was dried out and unusable. Luckily, it only took 1 quart to do the job. I will be returning the quart that arrived dried out, but I would have been bummed out if I had needed that second quart. The gallon size would have been way too much for my kitchen backsplash. You do need to follow the manufacturer's directions because this stuff does dry quickly. We had a 3 person team: one grouting, one wiping and one rinsing out the sponges and microfiber cloths, plus doing the inspection for any spots we missed or areas that needed touch up or a do-over. The finished product looks fabulous and I couldn't be happier with the results. I would recommend this product and would use it again since it is pretty much an apply, wipe off and you're done job...no sealing, no repeated rinsing, no haze removal! I just wish it was stocked in the store.

Used on a kitchen backsplash with subway tile. No complaints. As other reviews have stated you need to work small areas and clean up well. Looks great. Will repost as time goes by.

                Soupy Garbage !
The worst grout I’ve ever used! I’ve had chicken soups that were less watery. This stuff is horrible to use, messy, watery, sets too quickly and really useless for doing walls. Should be removed off the shelves because it’s that bad!

Well that was my first experience with a "high-quality" grout. I would not use this product again. Between the 3 week wait to receive it (I am not even considering that as bad because it is covid time when this order was made) and the cracking it is not worth it. I wish I had kept the container to see if it was out of date or something but the trash was already picked up. I noticed the cracks 2 days later. - small cracks but obviously the grout did not bond properly and I would bet more bonds will fail with use. Yes the entire area was clean and dry. I feel ripped off since I could have just bought an entire bag of Mapei FA for less than this item.

This is great to work with. Pop the lid, give it a stir and you’re ready to use. My only advice is apply it in small areas then clean, otherwise it’s more difficult to clean over large areas.

Follow the directions, its worth it!
First time grouter here- like first time EVER. After starting our new kitchen, we needed grout for our subway tile backsplash. We went with fusion pro because I did not want to mix something ourselves and risk not having a even color. I read so many mixed reviews- I was nervous. BUT, I followed the directions to the T and read tons of online reviews. It came out great with NO HAZE afterwards and heres what we did: - as soon as you star the grout, only do a FEW TILES at a time. We have the large subway tiles and worked on a maybe 6 tile space and no longer than 2 minutes. You dont want that stuff sitting. Put it on, rub it in and wipe off RIGHT AWAY. - Wiped off with damp sponges. 4 of them each time. Then after the sponges, damp mirco fiber clothes a few times. - Then moved on to the next step I think you really need patience and a little OCD to use this stuff- but its SO worth it. We LOVE the color and how it finished. Take your time- dont rush. Dont do huge areas. And clean the tiled area over and over after before moving on.

                    Complete Trash
My contractor used this grout for the first time on our shower project. The cost was less than a grout with sealant sold separately so it seemed like a value. It isn't. It erodes, cracks, and doesn't get the job done for our shower. Now we're going to have to end up tearing out the shower floor and seeing how much water has gotten underneath from the grout failing. And all the grout in the other areas is cracking too and needs to be replaced. So far all Custom has done is given my contractor the runaround and refused to cover anything. Guess who gets to pay the bill? ME.

Easy to use as a first timer
Bought this particular product for a few reasons, #1 it doesn't need sealing every few years like traditional grout, #2 the color is constant so if i have to do it in multiple batches it will still be the same instead of me adding color and having to match #3 its pre mixed so i don’t have to guess or have different constancies between batches. Before applying, #1 rule READ THE DIRECTIONS. This grout sets up much differently than normal grout (4 minutes). The Key points, wet the surrounding tiles before hand with a damp towel, grout a section of tile for no more than 4 minutes (small area) then immediately start wiping. I used a digital kitchen timer set to 3 minutes every time so that i knew that i could finish up a specific area in the remaining minute. Again, READ THE DIRECTIONS! There is also a video you can watch which is useful. I felt it went on rather easily, and had no problems i did not have to use any grout release, as i wiped everything clean after each section. I did however wipe with a dry towel after the moist microfiber towel to take off any wet haze. I also used 2 buckets of water, one for the sponge to wipe after grouting and the other for the microfiber towel, cleaner is better especially to avoid hazing. This product is a sanded grout with a sort of a colored water poof epoxy so its a bit of a hybrid grout. My application was 12 x 24 inch tiles with 3/16 spacers and it worked out great. As a first time tiler and grouter, i found it easy to use, maybe because i was so cautious and followed the directions. also i don't have the experience with regular grout to compare, but i like the idea of not having to seal the grout every year or two, cause i know I'd get lazy and not reseal it every year.

This product is not for the faint of heart if you are a DIY’er. Definitely follow the instructions and make sure your sponge is moist not damp as otherwise you will be cleaning up more than needed. And a terry cloth towel is a must! I’m not a pro, but I have been laying complex tile jobs for years and believe me this one wasn’t complex. I usually use a competitive pre-mixed quartz enhanced product but this time due to covid 19 my supplier was closed. So I bought this to try it out and get my job done. The product worked and dried and resulted in a great looking job. But it was not as easy to spread or clean up. This resulted in a 45-minute job taking nearly 2-hours. Again no other complaints but read and follow all directions first for this product.

The product a little tricky at first. It is very important to damp the floor and will make easier to spread. Fusion Pro is a good product and recommend it to anyone.

We did part of our project well over a year ago (maybe two years ago), and this was the grout we used. When we pulled it out to finish the project, we found that the remaining grout was too dried out to use. We ordered more, a bit worried about how well it would match the last batch, but it matched perfectly. So far, we have found this grout to perform well.

                          Horrible
I asked the clerk for epoxy grout but they steered me toward this for my shower. All the instructions were followed. Within 3 months the grout started coming out of the grout lines in the floor. Also it is not mildew and stain resistant after three years I am still battling this grout I have been using the tile lab non acidic cleaner which does nothing for this. We paid over 12000 dollars to have this bathroom done and can’t afford to have somebody come back and re- grout. Do your research if I had, I wouldn’t be dealing with this now.

Awful product. It stained my marble tile grey. The tile was pre sealed. I did a grout board with the cheap grout and it looked great. The fusion pro completely stained it. Do not use Even if you’ve sealed. Awful product. Pay 5 times as mush for grout and get a bunch of staining.

Pricey but worth it if I never have to seal it! A Home Depot associate told me this grout never needs to be sealed, and I'm all for easy maintenance. He said it was a little harder to work with than standard grout, but our installers didn't complain. I used the bone color with Romagna Almond 12 in. x 24 in. Polished Porcelain Floor and Wall Tile and Jeffrey Court Cappuccino 0.75 in. x 12 in. Marble Dome Trim Wall Tile.

Many review will say same thing, the bad is because it wasn't used properly or having proper preparations. First off I mixed it as there was a bit of moisture sitting on top, so I stirred it with drill and small paddle for a minute, just because it was separated in appearance .That said, you want 2 buckets water and 2 sponges, I did not have to change out water doubling up for 100 sq feet. It falls off float easily so be aware, use a putty knife to load it on or onto seems of tile AVOID customary spreading like grout you mix yourself, this has polymer and sets FAST and gets gunky when left more than a few minutes. stick to doing grout lines only as best as you can, and use sponge constantly (every 3 sq feet ) , stop to clean up and wipe down. This is really a great product when you take your time. sets fast and hard. wiping down as you go eliminates haze, watch out for drying pieces falling off float, clean that as well when it starts getting stiff and dry. it dries smooth, and clean, color is consistent, and its a sealer as well, for premix its easy to use if you prepare and are aware of how fast it sets. for walls, well its cumbersome since its a little thicker than mayo when you spread, and not as thick as toothpaste. it will fall off walls if not careful, I recommend if you use it for walls, use a little at a time, and load the float using small end and work upward stroke than smooth out, do 2 foot sq area and wipe down with same method described before. its worth the extra precautions to use this stuff...pricy, but worth it in my opinion...... on another not, if edges have a bit more than you like after the fact, many recommend sanding it out, if you take time, there is no need..but if your all about the littlest things, a emory board, for nails (like a large nail file) works perfect.. no fear of scratching tile, and if you dont wear gloves, your nails will look painted ( how i figured that out lol), works on elbows too

I used this product a few years ago in the living room, kitchen and hallway. Maintenance? There is none. It holds up over time. It is tough. There is no sealing necessary and cleans up as easily as the tiles it accents. On the current project (two smaller bedrooms), I used the same tile and grout color as the previous project. The grout matches perfectly. As expected based on my past experience, it takes more application time to get the desired result. That said the outcome looks great. The initial application time definitely pays off. I will use this product on any future tile projects.

I recently did my shower. I used 18 x 18 tile with 1/16 grout lines. It is easy to use premixed straight out of the container. Lightly sanded so it worked on the small grout lines.Cleanup is a little more difficult than standard grout. The biggest problem is the smell. It has a very noticeable smell and it takes several weeks to go away. It has been about a month 1/2 the smell is slight but still there. The next project is the bathroom counter, I haven't decided if I will use it again.
