I bought this in 2020, also bought two batteries. Worked great and it sat all winter now it does nothing at all. Both batteries are fully charged and dead

I’m looking at buying this and always take reviews with a grain of salt. What troubles me is the absolute boilerplate response from DeWalt, I see issues about oil caps, motor burn outs and early battery death, but no nuance regarding the issues

This chainsaw was a gift for my son. He is really impressed with it. He says it handled everything he cut really well, is quiet, and of course easy to start. He says it looks like a toy but doesn't act like one. Definitely a good tool to have on hand.

DEWALT 60-Volt MAX Lithium Ion Is a great buy. Less hassle to start compares to gas operated chainsaws. Good to have if you’re a homeowner if your property is in the wooded area. Ideal to use for cleanup medium size trees. Works for me and I do recommend to own one of this great DEWALT 60-Volt MAX.
