Only thing not 5 star is the pickup bag. A lot of the dust gets sucked up but not all of it. Pickup system probably ly catches 75% of dust. Great sander otherwise.

Put the battery in it and it works great. I was using the sander do you smooth some rough spots on my cedar fence. With a cord this would've been very difficult. I am glad that you want makes a battery operated circular sander.

Quality hand sander for finish work and household projects. Very easy to use with the attached dust bag. Batteries fit my DeWalt tools and am able to get good results.

My first Dewalt purchase. Would have been nice if it came with a battery. Returned the sander because battery and charger cost as much as the sander. Ended up going with a different brand.

The machine itself works great. Only drawback I found is the capacity of the dust bag. Maybe 5 min into a decent sand and you have to dump it or you'll have a good size mess. Great product from Dewalt!!

I bought this to sand my railings. Worked real nice. Did have one problem with the Diablo sanding disc. It did not stay on. That might have been operator error.

Good enough to get the job done
I bought this to use this on the occasional weekend project and it has worked fine for that purpose. The dust collection bag works surprisingly well for sanding dust. I have sanded a whole four drawer dresser with various grit sanding discs and it did the job, however I did have to change batteries a couple times but that is expected with any battery powered tool.

No complaints, works as expected. Make sure you dust off the unit well before you swap the battery so that sawdust doesn’t get in the terminals.
