Powerful cot of tool. Cuts fast but uses blades fast. Wish it was variable speed so you cut cut down the speed that would make blades last longer. Being reversible helps with the direction of the sparks can’t do that with my air cut off. The DeWalt cuts just as fast as the air tool.

I already have numerous dewalt 20v tools, this isn't something you would use on a regular basis but when you need it you're glad to have it.

The blade is too short to cut through any materials. Only give it a 3* because I don't want to feel as dewalt scammed me

Great little tool. I have no complaints with it yet. And the dust collection works wonderfully to keep my job sites clean.

Powerful and great quality.

I needed to pull up four inches of tile, to fix an improperly installed door from another big box store, and this tool did the trick. The tile was not perfectly flat, so using the dust guard caused the blade to bind and stop the tool. Once I took off the dust guard it cut like a knife through butter. Holding the shop vac hose just in front of the tool took care of all the dust. 100% recommend.

Wheel housing doesn't lock in place

A decent tool, but being a dedicated DeWalt tool user, I am greatly disappointed. PROS: *cuts well. *There is a LARGE choice of blades to use *Hex key is stored on machine. CONS: *The dust "extractor port" does not fit on DeWalt shop vacs. It only works on a dedicated dust extractor. Had to use duct tape to attach to shop vac *NO. there is no light. * shoe hides the front of the blade, so you really can't see where you are going.

pretty un impressed over all. I love dewalt and have most of the xr line, but this one is a miss.

Does. More than I anticipated

I cant get a job done without my many battery powered power tools! Home Depot always has a great selection of DeWalt tools and always knows how to help me get the exact one I need!

The tool is more powerful than the Milwaukee version, but the Milwaukee feels better in the hand. Normally, I prefer the ergonomics of Dewalt but not on this tool. The handle needs to be about a1/4 longer. Maybe my hands are just bigger than most, but they feel cramped holding this tool. The dust shield was hard to remove and the instructions were vague on removal. Other than these issues the tool is great.

A great product . Would purchase this again.

I use this tool for cutting vinyl siding every day. Way faster than using my snips. I cut some steel with it also worked awesome. The handle is a little towards the small side but still easy to hold!

The cut off tool was easy to use and it is very light I had no problem cutting the metal bands I was cutting even used it to cut metal roofing panels it’s a great tool
