Is the perfect style for my mouse sander. Refinishing wrought iron made easy.

After a min. or 2, hook and lock sheet detaches from sandpaper. Rendering it useless. "Your pressing too hard or heat is melting the glue". No. Poorly made. Started job cutting triangles out of some Norton disks. No issues. Wish HD still carried Norton.

Forgive my woodworking ignorance but why did they cut it in half with only 1/8 of an inch tag holding it together? 4 minutes into the project the bottom half fell on the floor. useless. the first 4 minutes worked pretty good though I guess I'll use these for hand sanding.

I am in the middle of rehab project that is taking hours of sanding and I am using every sander I own. This pad fits both my detail sanders and able to buy just one product to work on two tools is always very nice. Needless to say these do the job and last as long as you would hope.

These pads fit both my Ryobi Corner Cat and my Black and Decker mouse, so nice to be able to buy one product versatile enough to get the job done. Diablo is a quality name in woodworking and these pads continue to prove Diablo’s dedication to producing quality products. Works great and last a long time.

I have long been pleased with Diablo blades and sanding products but this one is poorly designed and executed.The sanding pad is 7/16" longer than the mounting surface and 5/16" wider. This means that you can only go flush to an adjacent surface in one direction. While there are vent holes in the sanding pad, they are in a different pattern and location than the holes in the mounting pad, so they serve little purpose. The hook and loop material does not adhere well to the mounting pad, so the sanding pad frequently falls off. The biggest issue is the internal edges, where the sanding pad can be separated into two pieces (may be relevant to other sanders but does not match the shape of the Mouse). The edges catch on surfaces being sanded and good out or curl under, leaving you are no longer sanding with a flat surface. This can be very damaging if you're sanding a delicate or relatively soft surface.To reiterate, Diablo makes some great products but I'd avoid this one until they revise it.

It wares down fast i had to use the whole box for a small section

Love this product.Makes preparing all surfaces ready for paint/stain easy..I use it for walls,trim and doors.Will never go back to sanding by hand

I'm sanding a small bathroom floor (not the best place for hardwood floors, but the house came that way), and I'm doing it by hand with my Ryobi sander and 80 grit Diablo Hook & Lock sanding sheets. I'm almost finished (the picture shows when I'd just started), but I have used an entire package of 5 sheets. We don't have a Home Depot close by, so I tried the competitor's sanding sheets and after using one, I gave up and will wait until we're in town to get the good ones. It's a tough enough job to start with, I'm sticking with the sandpaper that works!

My sump pump quit so I had to repair some sections of drywall, and this product worked great sanding down the walls.

Let me preface the review by saying I'm a complete amateur when it comes to sanding so take this review with that in mind. I used it to sand the top layer off of my railings that had become disgusting to look at. Even though the pads worked as expected, I felt like they didn't last very long but it could have been because of how I used them. Everything I've ever bought from Diablo has been great so I'm sure the wear is normal. The 220 grit sheets worked really well too. I would recommend these.

Love it! Used it yesterday it was great to work with! I sanded a table top using all three different sand paper samples included in the box. I really liked the dusk catcher, it works great, just being able to empty the shavings after finished my work. End project was amazing! Making me want to sand everything! Great product! We also have leave blower, shrub trimmer too. All are great!

Today I purchased a Black and Decker (B&D) Mouse Model BDEMS600 and a pack of 3-7/8 in. x 5-1/2 in. 120-Grit CAT/Mouse Detail Sanding Sheet with Hook and Lock Backing and a pack of 3-7/8 in. x 5-1/2 in. 220-Grit CAT/Mouse Detail Sanding Sheet with Hook and Lock Backing. CONS: This pad does not fit the B&D sander I purchased although the package noted that the pads would work on the B&D Mouse. The pads are larger as can be seen the picture and if you are not careful the pads will overhang the front of the sander and will cut into any surface that is perpendicular to the surface being sanded. The next issue I have with these pads is the dust ventilation holes, the hole pattern does not match the required holes on the B&D thereby rendering the dust collection system on the sander useless. The last issue I have with these pads is they separate to easily when removing the pads from the sander. So, if you intend on reusing the pads be extremely careful such that you do not separate the pads. PROS: The pads adhere very well to the sander. The pads seem to last well (I was sanding painted oak). Rating: I gave the product 2 stars because the product was sold to fit my tool, clearly it did not! If it would have fit I would have rated it 5.

Today I purchased a Black and Decker (B&D) Mouse model BDEMS600 along with a package of 3-7/8 in. x 5-1/2 in. 120-Grit CAT/Mouse Detail Sanding Sheet with Hook and Lock Backing and package of the 3-7/8 in. x 5-1/2 in. 220-Grit CAT/Mouse Detail Sanding Sheet with Hook and Lock Backing and was highly disappointed. Cons: On the package it states the pads work with my B&D however the pads are a little larger and if you allow them to overhand the front of the sander they cut into any vertical material that is perpendicular to the surface being sanded. Another point against the pads are the dust ventilation holes, they do not match the holes on the B&D. So the dust collection system on the B&D was rendered useless. The last con is the pads separate when removing them from the sander, so if you plan or would like to reuse a pad that you are using be very careful when removing it. Pro: The pads sand well and are very secure on the sander. They seem to last and are easily cleaned off with a nylon brush. So I gave the pads a 2 because the adhere well and last! They are not for the B&D Mouse.

Good product

I refinish furniture quite a bit as a hobby. I despise sanding. I needed a sander that I could handle without it being so heavy. I purchased the Black & Decker Mouse. This past weekend I purchased several grit choices of Diablo sand paper. It is so easy to use with my Mouse & I would never have made it though both of my projects without it doing the job.

This sandpaper which adheres nicely to the sander, made the job so much easier to handle. The paper is strong and doesn't wear off easily, so you get a lot of use from each piece. We used it to remove old wallpaper glue, patched up holes, uneven and rough areas of the wall, and it did a great job wherever we worked. My grandson did a lot of the work, and he said that it was more of a fun job, than a hard one. It's a great product, and my grandkids bought me more paper for Father's Day !!!!

HD used to sell another brand that was much better, these diablo don't last at all, they need a better quality product, I use them to make barn doors

The DIABLO hook and loop, detail sanding sheets performed well during my stair restoration project, however before you consider purchasing them make sure that the hole pattern fits your machine, this item has a six hole cut outs for dust collection, my Black and Decker mouse detail sander model (BDEMS600) had a 12 hole configuration, the holes did not line up at all, even though the packaging stated that it fits MOUSE sanders. However I did not have time to return the sand paper so all I needed to do was too use a one hole paper punch (purchased at the dollar store)on the sand paper to correct the hole configuration (you use the old, exact fit sanding sheet as a template for the new holes). The item brings five sheets and they can be used for wood, metal or plastic. Even though the DIABLO sanding sheets were not a perfect fit for my machine, they did perform well when I corrected the hole configuration (The manufacturer should clearly state what model numbers the sand paper actually fits) with that being said I would recommend the sand paper to anyone interested in purchasing it and the price is very reasonable for the performance of the product. Four star product review I would have had given it five stars if it was an exact fit. Fits ok on my cat tool but you have to replace it to a new one very fast
