Bought this as part of a shower system for a remodel. Reviews sounded great. Now that it is imbedded in marble, come to find that the hand-held has only has one setting that sprays about 6 inches without the help of gravity. The shape is angled awkward so it is hard to hit your body without dragging the hose all over you. Not enough pressure to get soap out of your hair. Totally useless and must be replaced. We bought almost all faucets, hardware, shower systems, and even the kitchen sink from Delta. This was the only disappointment.

The finish of the shower looks nice. However, like many stainless steel product, it is hard to maintain its shininess. The installation of the bar is very easy once you identify all the loose parts. I think it took me around five minutes for the whole install once I gather all required tools. I wish it comes with smaller drywall inserts so that I can minimize the size of the anchoring hole required between tiles. I dislike the fact that the bar's mounting brackets as well as the sliding mechanism are made of plastic. Since this is a water saver shower, the spray is not very strong. You pretty much need to stand directly underneath the head if you want to go for a "hand-free" shower. The problem is when you stand this close to the shower, you will bump into the shower bar when you turn around. To increase the flow rate, I remove the plastic O-ring flow restrictor a the shower head.

My wife and I bought (2) of these to go with our Delta R22000 valve bodies. I love the valve bodies, but these wands are junk. They look good, but Delta has installed a water restrictor in them that restricts the flow so bad that the water barely dribbles out of the wands (I COULD take the restrictors out, but these wands aren't worth messing with). Secondly, for $189/ea you'd think the wand would be of a higher quality (it's just plastic like the $20 ones you buy). For $189/ea, you'd also think the wand could do more than just one single spray setting. The other thing I don't like is the fact that I have the screw to tighten the knuckles on each wand holder as tight as they will go, but yet they will not remain upright. All in all, I sadly have to say that this is high priced junk. My wife ended up purchasing (2) 5-function wands for $20 each and they work amazing. It's sad that a $20 no-name Chinese wand can function 10x better than a Delta $189 wand. I wish Delta would refund me for these or give me credit towards another R22000 valve body or something. This is the biggest waste of over $400 I've ever had. I really feel like I got taken on this purchase. Very disappointed Delta!!!! As of the date of this writing, I have been talking to Delta customer service via email for numerous days. So far they have tried to blame my water pressure, the wand being dirty, etc etc. The have taken no accountability whatsoever, and I'm still stuck with TWO of these wands that do not work. If they ever resolve the issue, I will update this. So far though, it sounds like they are just wanting to squirm out of it and are hoping I'll just disappear...

It looks great but beware as others have noted, it has sub-par water pressure with no way to adjust higher.

All of our appliances are polished nickel, this finish is perfect. We did have a pro plumber friend help guide us through the install. Our shower is a smaller space, so for us the water saving aspect is great. We also have harder water, this particular head is so easy to clean, I literally wipe it off easily with my finger! I love that! The slide bar has been easy to maneuver up and down, the longer hose a real bonus for movement around shower. I feel this has been an elegant and modern upgrade, which is just what we were looking for. Nice quality, sleek look, features are very good. We are pleased.

This bathroom handshower is amazing! We have been remodeling our bathroom. It was so easy to install and use-completely functional. It looks gorgeous because of its sleek contemporary style. I use it every day and love it. It doesn't take up a lot of space You get a nice steady stream from the shower head. Great hand held for kids and dogs since it has an adjustable slide bar and super long hosehose for people of different heights. The shower head has easy to clean spray holes-so unique and modern. Highly recommended for everyone. I have a good feeling this will last a long time. Very happy and satisfied customer with this Delta.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really thought I would be more impressed considering it was Delta. The only thing that I liked is the hose. It's completely medal that stretches. I have high water pressure and it barely came out so I took the aerator out thinking that it would help but it didn't. It took forever just to get the shampoo out of my hair. I wasn't going to wait that long to get the conditioner also. I also didn't like that you have to put holes in my shower tiles just a mounted on the wall.

One of my favorite things aside from it's high end look is that it's adjustable. There's about a one foot difference between my husband and I and this is really nice for a shared shower. It's the little things in life make a relationship smoother. Like most stainless things expect a little difficult keeping it nice and shiny despite but it's doable. Pro tip for installation: If you can't get a professional to handle the install make sure you gather all necessary pieces first then begin following the instructions. You may need to do some homework as well if you're not the handiest of people to learn about the construction of your walls. I helper never hurts either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Spray Slide Bar in stainless steel has added to my bathroom looking very modern and updated. It was fairly easy to install and looks great! It is easy to keep clean and shiny. I love how simple it is to adjust the height up and down so that it works great for everyone in my family. I love how long the sprayer is so I can easily bathe my three dogs and wash the bathtub out. The only issue I have had is that the water comes out in a flow that is a bit too light for me. Other than that, I am very happy with the product and it is great that it saves water!

The install is not very hard but you must have some knowledge about how walls are constructed as well as not being afraid of working with water lines. Once installed, it works as intended, you are able to move the unit up and down the wall changing the height of the spray. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality, shower head.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think one of the stand out features of this sprayer is that the mounting bar is made from metal. After shopping , what seems like every hand-held shower sprayer on the market, I was amazed to find that 99% are all plastic parts. I mean, I understand that they aren't meant to be beaten up, but I feel that the price of those plastic sprayer don't reflect a good value. This is where I feel this sprayer has a leg up on many of the others. The mounting bar is metal, with screw in hardware (not double stick tape or suction cups, like a lot of others). Which is more durable than a plastic version. The head of the wand is plastic (I've yet to find any that aren't) but it has a good amount of weight to it and the internals, of course, are metal, just like most of the rest. The one thing about this head, is that it is a single spray pattern. This is fine for me, but worth mentioning if that's not what you're looking for. That being said the pressure is controlled by water pressure and has adequate flow, so I don't mind that at all. Overall, this is a simple, durable & good-looking sprayer that should last a long time.

The unit itself is good, However, the ease of installation is moderate. Be aware that you will probably have be to purchase an additional gasket because the one that is provided is of very poor quality and does not fit properly. There was major water leaks until I went to Home Depot and purchased new gaskets. Once that was done, the installation was able to be completed. Now, there is no leaks

I finally got around to installing this unit. I was very weary about drilling into the walls of my shower for the slide bar knowing this was going to have to be a permanent installation. After the job was done, I think it looks great. To top off its overall look, Im considering installing the matching elbow so that all of the shower components match. This unit is a water saving designed unit, but the amount of water was just too little compared to what I was used to. Thankfully, another reviewer showed a tip on how to increase water flow out of the head (and it worked great). I suggest talking to your significant other before going through with the permanent installation of this unit. There are several other models out there where the slide bar is attached via suction cup (at the bottom) so that requires no drilling during the installation.

The install is not very hard but you must have some knowledge about how walls are constructed as well as not being afraid of working with water lines. Once installed, it works as intended, you are able to move the unit up and down the wall changing the height of the spray. The head doubles as a sprayer which is handy although it is a 1.75 gpm water saving device. So spray pressure is an issue for me. The usual spray head puts out 2.5 gpm which is what i am used to. It would be nice if the head was a little bigger and was adjustable for different spray patterns, but it is designed for easy cleaning of the nozzles which is a plus. Most of the components of this unit are in fact plastic with a stainless looking surface. It is not easy to maintain the shininess of this unit, but with a little work you can maintain it satisfactorily. The length of the sprayer line is perfect for being able to clean all body parts as well as use it to rinse the tub while cleaning, or washing the dog or cat ( if the cat will let ya, lol). Over all a nice looking unit, but water pressure is a must for my families shower habits.

This is a beautiful shower head. It is a low flow model— I like it OK, but hubby prefers stronger force and larger spray area. If you are looking to conserve water, and a stylish and functional shower head, then this is a good choice. Installation is easy, and the slide bar is helpful if you have people of different heights using the shower—very handy!

We love the look of our stainless Dryden 1 spray slide bar hand shower. It is nice having adjustable shower head when the heights of your family range more than a foot difference. The water flow is nice and the shower head is easy to operate. It comes with everything I needed for installation and the directions were easy enough to follow. A very nice upgrade to our bathroom.

I had such a a slide bar and hand shower all the time when living in Europe, and was missing it after moving back to the us and buying a house. I finally found this system and love it a lot! It is basically identical to the system we loved in Europe and it provides the flexibility of a normal shower combined of the one of a hand shower. The females in the household love the adjust-ability of the shower head. They can take a shower without getting their hair wet. we live in SW Florida, and in the summer one needs to shower a few times a day on some days. And being able to do that without getting the hair wet is just great! It is relatively easy to install the system for any experienced DYS person.

I was looking for a shower head that is stylish and modern looking. I have found it in this product. First, Delta makes high quality sink and shower fixtures, so you can’t go wrong if you strictly buy Delta products. This particular product comes in a couple different finishes. I chose satin nickel. It goes with all the other products I have installed. It is sturdy, easy to install and makes my shower look so much nicer. Only con to this showerhead is I would like the head to be bigger, but that’s a personal choice. So I installed a overhead rain shower tile. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality, shower head.

I was very surprised at this being picked for us and it is very nice. Our shower bar is starting to crack and you could not get better timing for this item. The bad news is it is larger than our original bar and with a shower surround, I did not want more holes in wall. When I return home I will look into putting a spacer under wall attachments and this may work. I will try as this is a very high quality item and made from a great company to boot. The look is very modern but not to SyFy. This is a very good choice if you have tiles or just installing new not as replacement.

Great shower head. The slide bar the hand held shower head sits on works very easily to adjust the height. My wife is about a foot shorter than me and has always wanted the head lower. Now we can easily and quickly adjust the height to our own preference. We found the pressure very acceptable as there was no difference from our prior head. The only thing I would warn DIY homeowners of is the fact that the brackets holding the bar must be screwed thru the surround. If you're not comfortable drilling holes thru your fiberglass or tile shower surround you may want to consider having a professional install it for you.

I can't even use this shower head to wash my hair because the water pressure is so low. Do not buy unless you want a very frustrating shower experience.
