Ordered a CHROME color kit and had it installed yesterday 5/28. Unfortunatly, the components that you would expect to be Chrome are of a unacceptable mix of colors and finish. Track and roler assemblies are brushed nickel, handles/mountings are a mix and "sil diverter" yet another color and polish. All Delta fixtures and hardware in the bath, shower hardware does not come close to the finish quality and consistency I have expected from Delta. Disappointing. Door reasonably heavy duty.

Super impressed with this product! It’s very solid and looks great. It gently self closes when at approximately 1” from wall!!

Door assembly parts( bushes, sliders ) holes are not in allign with the glass door. The Glass doors are too low and door assembly parts are higher than the glass door holes. The bush is also mismatch size.

I feel these doors are high quality, as a glazer myself installed many custom showers. This was easy to install make sure walls an tub are plumb, level if not there are adjustments with the rollers. The mod soft installed in the header keeps the doors from slamming the walls they are just as good as the commercial ones.

Dont waste your money. I got the black finish and the black i think is just spray painted onto the hardware, its been chipping off in multiple places and weve only had it installed less than 90 days.

Wow.. i just Installed my Delta frameless mod soft close sliding bath tub door with rain glass. And it looks Beautiful . And if you're considering buying this sliding bath tub doord. Go to Home Depot website,There are videos there to shows you how to install these doors. The instructions were a little intimidating but The Home Depot website videos made a go by very easy. Take a look at the pictures I Uploaded. And I installed mine with a fiberglass surround tub. And I installed correctly, because after I finished my kids taken a shower . And no water spilled on the floor.. haahaa this is a very well built shower door then seal did ther job. And the rain frost glass is a nice touch.

The finished look and operation of the shower door is very good. The brushed nickel finish is consistent on all plated parts including the top rail. I already installed a similar door in chrome and the top rail was a bit different from the look of the chrome plating on the handles and trolley parts. There are a couple of points worth covering in the installation. The instructions tell you to install the collar brackets that hold the top rail over a stud. That may or may not be possible for everyone but why include wall inserts if the bracket screws will be going into a stud? And how would a pop toggle's wings spread out properly if the insert is into a stud? (See picture of pop toggle anchors provided.) There is no pin tool included to spread the toggle wings. And from experience, I have found the other type of insert that is provided is a better fit for the 5/16 inch hole and the screw hole is larger. The hole in the pop toggle insert seems meant for #6 screws even though #8 screws are provided. If the fit is too tight you risk cracking tile, man-made marble slabs or other composite slab sidewalls. I like how the shock absorbing bumpers work but they can be a bit tricky to install. It's that final step of pushing a nut into the plastic hex recess on the back of the bumper. I found that threading the companion screw into the nut and using it as a handle to push the nut into place worked better than a push with just my thumb (see photo) then just unscrew the bolt leaving the nut securely and squarely in place. Also, the plastic piece that holds the top rail in place involves inserted a screw up into the rail where your screwdriver will be at a bit of an angle. I used a tiny piece of tape to hold the screw to the plastic until I could get the screw started. Delta also included a bottom plastic strip for the inner door to help deflect water. At least I think that was the intention since it is there but not mentioned during the installation. Others noted in the past that they had some leaks and I guess that is why this piece is included. This unit can fit a number of width openings but it does require some cutting. I feel confident enough to use a carbide tip blade on a miter saw to make a very accurate cut but you MUST GO SLOWLY and WEAR GOGGLES. I am not sure how easy it is with a hacksaw and miter box. Also, if you have not drilled a lot of metal I will mention that you want to make "curls" and not tiny chips as you drill. This means using the drill on a low speed that produces those curls (see photo). The 3/8 inch thick glass panels are certainly heavy especially for someone over 70 carrying them to a second floor location but I like the feel of the 3/8 glass over the 1/4 inch but it does come at a premium price. One final and minor issue is the door handles. It seems like the tubing that fits between the handles could be 1/32 inch longer to fit a bit tighter between the handles. Maybe there is another way to prevent them from rotating. Overall, it's a very nice unit and an experienced DIY person can install it in about 2 to 4 hours depending on a number of factors.

These shower doors are a quality product. Each door weighs about 70lbs and they are well-balanced and glide smoothly. It took one person (me) about 6 hours total to install but that includes removing the old caulk and then waiting for the new caulk to dry so realistically, I spent about 2.5 actual hours of installing. I suggest having 2 people do the install as that’s a much safer & easier way to go. The only difficult part was trying to adjust the door to the tub enclosure (can raise & lower the glass by removing the rollers and placing in a different hole) but that was a function of the tub, not the door and luckily they made this an option. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, even for a beginner. The worst part of the whole installation was cutting the top rail and the bottom ledge with a hacksaw. It’s thick metal (they didn’t go cheap on the railings) and hard to get through – I got to do the top twice because I was a bit too conservative the first time and didn’t cut enough off. The rain glass is very pretty and provides a modicum of privacy while looking elegant. The handles are easy to install and hand-tighten. To install, you will need: safety glasses, a hacksaw, level, files, stud finder, Phillips screwdrivers, tape measure, masking tape, tile drill bits, caulk/caulk gun. Nice to have: shop vac, miter box, tin snips I have no complaints about these shower doors. They are sturdy and look great.

Looks very nice. Was a bit complicated to put together for a DIY’er like me, but well worth it.

The lower rail that sits against the top edge of the tub is not pitched towards the tub. When you set the rail on the top edge of the tub, it is pitched away from the tub which I didn’t think I needed to check before I installed it. I installed the door and caulked everything but water builds up in the rail and then weeks out onto the floor. I had to shim the rail with plastic shims so that it is pitched towards the tub so that it drains correctly.

The door looks amazing in my newly remodeled bathroom. We love the overall appearance and especially the soft-close doors. I am very glad that I had a professional do the installation because the instructions were not accurate.

I would have given a 5 star if it wasn't for the top part of the shower doors the finish scratch very easily.

the way of installation that this product has does not reflect its value other cheaper products look safer it did not meet my expectations

Beautiful addition to our bathroom remodel. I did not install myself, but my contractor did not seem to have any major problems.

Glass was very thick and looks very expensive ! Was very impressed
