This is a fantastic air compressor. Very quiet and fills fully in about three minutes. Also received a phone call from the company to setup warranty. The staff was very knowledgeable about their product. Highly recommend if you are looking for personal or professional use. Through conversation with the staff I also ordered through them an hour meter to make oil change timing easier.

So far it's a great compressor. It's very quiet and the constant run feature comes in handy for sand blasting. Make sure you vent the air bleed outside because it'll blow your eardrums.

Plumbed in easily. I did have to turn the oil pressure way down but it was easily accessible and and not difficult to dial in. From outside the insulated shed it is housed in, the compressor is barely audible beyond 10 feet

This is by far the quietest compressor I’ve ever seen. Tons of power and easy to hook up. I do wish it would have come with a manual but a search online and you can find one to print out.

This compressor is everything I wanted. I work at a body shop and hear our noisy compressor all day long but this EMAX is the quietest thing I've heard. My washer and dryer are louder than this compressor! It has more than enough cfms to run any tool I need it to. The overall quality is great probably because it's made right here in the good ol USA. I recommend this to anyone who needs a compressor.

Just received yesterday. Very quiet compared to our previous compressor and very High quality.

It has been a long road for this compressor, (Purchased in Feb 2020). Due to the fact that this was being installed in an unheated garage in the Northeast. (Not recommended to be operated in Cold Temps) and Covid. The istall has finally been completed. Long story short ... the unit, as stated has been installed, Secured to the floor and Wired, this Spring 2021. It operates as advertised and operates quietly. It will handle all of my needs, easily. It has been more than worth the wait and would highly recomend this unit.

Installed the compressor and upon start-up the oil pressure increased to over 150 psi and then quickly dropped to zero. Called Emax and they diagnosed a faulty gauge. After a week I finally received the new gauge, but the new gauge also read zero. Called Emax again and they diagnosed a faulty oil pump. They sent a new oil pump after another week. When I removed the old pump the shaft was sheared in half. Looks like the bushing was not properly deburred and when the original oil pump was installed the bushing cut the oil pump seal and then the cut seal locked the shaft. The shaft is only attached to the face plate by an aluminum rivet which is very light duty. After the new oil pump was installed the gauge read 60 psi which is the desired pressure. So after 3 weeks and slow ground UPS shipping (Emax would not overnight the parts) the compressor finally seems to work. Not exactly the quality or service I was expecting.

Compressor has been installed for two weeks now, So far it is meeting all our expectations. Was surprised just how quite it runs compared to what we had before. The auto drain pump has been a great addition.

I had done extensive research on compressors and settled on this unit. Arrived in a timely fashion. We had a minor glitch with two separate parts. I called the manufacturer and they were very pleasant, knowledgeable and quite helpful in overnighting the parts I needed. Electrical is being installed and we can't wait to use it!

Delivery was early. My Best Friend loves this air compressor. It is his Christmas gift. His Wife loves it too.

Home Depot shipped this product directly to my shop. The crate was placed where we needed it and unpacking was a breeze. We have used the air compressor daily and haven't experienced any issues. The silent air technology greatly reduces noise levels in our shop. This is one of the best compressors I have ever used. I am very happy with this air compressor.

7.5HP E-max industrial plus 80 gal piston compressor: Although I have had this a very limited amount of time; having had several shops over the years and multiple compressors to compare to, I’d like to give a few early words for review. Overall this compressor is fairly quiet and up till now my 5hp quincy was my best experience on noise level, Not sure of true decibel rating but its nearly identical to the ear, which is a lot better than what I would call the 3rd place (in my experience) with my Ingersoll rand. It is quite large and overall has a good look to it. Specifically meaning most everything seems to be overbuilt in a earlier era type fashion. It doesn’t use a lot of plastic covers and cheap components that tend to be hidden under those covers. With that I expect it should last a good while and is not a cheap disposable unit like so many on the market today. I have had my fair share of smaller reed valve compressors in the past that sometimes struggle to run air tools; this beast appears to be ready for a fairly hard days work. The features are a really nice addition; for example the constant run valve is a huge plus when doing body work as it saves the motor the endless start and stop cycling that kills capacitors in short order (assuming the other compressors can overtake the demand in the first place- experience with both). It is worth noting that you are obviously going to need a forktruck for loading and unloading, as (again) its not like the tiny aluminum pumps that one will typically see in the entrance/exit of the stores and its weight directly reflects that. The only complaint I have so far is that it had an air leak at the constant run valve. Not such a small leak considering it is only a tiny pipe thread. With that said, customer service was on my email within minutes and were determined to make this right. It was an easy fix but this attention alone, in my opinion, is what helps set this company apart from the competition. Its not a cheap investment and there are certainly cheaper compressors out there; however I would argue that when comparing value vs price, the Emax is definitely in the pack lead. Cheap units have their place and serve the needs of many people but if you need the muscle of a significantly bigger compressor for painting/ body work or other high CFM work, even with the minor issue, I would highly recommend the emax brand. Lastly, as long as they treat customers the way they did so far, I will be a faithful return customer for any pneumatic needs I may have.

Researched compressors for couple months. Highest quality, bought on sale. This will last for me and my grandsons life time, runs quiet, and plenty of air, cfm....

This compressor is more than I expected. I really like the fact that the noice level is about 80% less than my old one. It also fills the tank up quite fast. The shipping was also faster than expected. When I purchased it the delivery time was about a month from when I bought it and it arrived in less than 2 weeks. Overall I am very pleased with this product.
