We used the screen for both privacy and shade. We had to double up the layers of fabric to get a medium level of privacy where we could still see through it, but it wasn;t transparent. Stretched and stapled on easily and quickly. I checked online and HD had the lowest price that I could find on this, even lower than the major auction site. Great product. Would buy it again.

Great sun shade
I bought the product to provide shade over my outdoor spa. It shades well while also allowing a view of trees and sky overhead as well as keeping out insects and leaves.

Design your own garden shade
You might need to buy clips, rings, or other supplies to install the shade as desired, but that makes this product useful if you have your own design or project in mind.

Great for patio covers!
We use this on top of our cedar patio cover to block the sun that creeps through the 1x3" slats. The tan and wheat colors go well with the stained wood, and allow great airflow. These were easily attached with a staple gun and so far the fabric has yet to rip free after 4 years in the southern California sun. Rivets and clamps are available if the staple gun is not your cup of tea! Overall we have been very pleased with the quality, look, and value of this product.

Nice shade cloth, looks great
After layering the shade cloth over my gazebo beams, it gently flapped in the breeze and looks so nice. I only wish it came in more colors. It provides a nice shade over my chairs

Looks nice, but doesn't hold up to higher winds
This sun screen was easily to put up and looked really nice. It did a good job of screening the sun, but once our winds hit 30 mph, it started to tear. We get much higher winds than 30 mph regularly here, so this is not something I would recommend for very windy areas. For those that get milder winds, it would be perfect.

Perfect for the application1
I used this shade fabric to cover the areas between my fence and my shed. In SE Louisiana we have some serious summer sun, and on the S side of my shed was nothing short of horrible! Now its a nice shady garden! I bought some of the easy snap grommets and put in some eye hooks...easy!

Great Sun & Wind Protection
We live in Southwest Arizona where the winds are strong and the summers are extremely HOT. This Sunscreen works great around our small trees for wind protection. We have also installed it around our patio and on our outside windows for sunscreen and privacy. It is a heavy material, making it sturdy for many uses. I would recommend this to anyone wanting wind and sun protection.

Perfect for Providing Shade to Canopy!
This is a multi-puprose item that works wonderful for providing shade to canopy-like structures while still allowing air to breathe through the panels. Awesome purchase!

sun knockdown
This tan colored sun shade screen is great. It is UV resistant and can be expected to last over 7yrs. in direct southwestern sun. It deflects wind, rain, and heat yet allows 50% light through. It is difficult to stretch straight without wrinkles and to secure to a wood frame or your porch. The fabric can be wrapped around a 1x2 and stapled to more easily tack up. Be creative on making a lean-to sun shade roof. Instructions lack practical examples. I've used this stuff in gray color before the tan color gives a warm feeling.

Recently used as a shade at a family cookout. LOVE IT!
We recently used the Easy Gardener Sunscreen like a sun shade sail at a family outing. I used two 6x 20 rolls secured in trees and to the corner of the utility building and created shade where it was needed for the cookout.
It made it several degrees cooler in the 12x20 shaded area where we had tables set up to eat.
I plan on keeping these two rolls as I have them (I just used the fabric clips available also at home depot) and using them again next cookout.
Im in the process of building a new deck and adding a pergola to it later.
Ill definitely buy more of this fabric to use as a movable shade on the pergola.
It will be in the direct sun and with the cooling benefits and shade provided it should make it cooler even on the hottest summer days.
