Broke after 2 years of use E1 code error
Manufactured made excuses to not cover the warranty

After 1year is not functioning
E1 code always. 5min of hot water in my shower max and e1 code. Bad service. Ask me to replace gas line, bypass softener, take gaz presure, change flame probe….. and more. Its realy trash. Dont buy anything from eccotemp its a cheep Chinese product

Barely works
We spend more time trying to fix this than we do using it. I can never trust it will work. I shower almost as much at friends and families as I do at home since I installed this water heater. My ancient 50 gallon electric water heater was more reliable than this. comes on, go cold at least twice a week.

every time you try to mix cold water with hot...
every time you try to mix cold water with hot water in the shower it turns off all hot water
