Have to give this one my high rating, the 'ProFlex380 Standard Kneeling Pad' does provides comfort for kneeling situations. It's the best I've ever used to date for padding the knees and it's of good size that lets you move without having to readjust (move) the pad every time. A full 1 inch thick of , what I call, dense foam for firm but comfortable support (padding). There you have it, the short and sweat of it. Great Pad.

A large (20 ¼ inch x 13 ¼ inch x 1 inch thick) foam kneeling pad that will be welcome in the garage to cushion the knees from the hard concrete floor (and provide some thermal isolation when the floor is cold, this product is much better than the small “gardening” type kneeling pads that we sometimes find ourselves using for want of something better. This kneeling pad is the “something better”. The top and bottom surfaces of the 1-inch thick foam is “skinned” to minimize ingress of any fluids that may be present when used and a convenient hand hole is provided to carry it from location to location. The bright orange color will ensure that you don’t forget where you put it down. Although best used on smooth finished surfaces, there is enough resilience to the pad that, should you need to use it, for example on a gravel driveway, the small stones will not be felt on the kneeling surface of the dense foam. Of course, if one uses this on gravel often, a reduction in lifetime could be expected. Definitely a good addition to the garage.

This pad is a full inch thick of dense foam. The foam is soft for the knees, but dense and strong for durability. I use this pad outside in the driveway when working on cars. It is a gravel driveway, so the pad helps quite a bit. Orange is easy to see even in the dark. The pad has not shown wear after a few small projects outside. It may also be used in the garden in summer just to keep the knees cleaner.

Worked well for my needs, and knees. I used the pad while remodeling my bathroom floor. I had to get down to adjust the flange and remove the staples from the subfloor prior to applying the thinset for the tile. The pad is about 20" wide so I was able to kneel in a comfortable position and I was not cramped while using it. The handle made it easy to carry around. In addition to kneeling with it, I used it as a cushion on top of some my organizers to sat on them. It worked well for me.

Yes, this is pretty expensive for a kneeling pad, but it's really well made. I was actually very surprised at the size when it arrived - I've used other kneeling pads that were really only large enough for one knee. This one is huge - large enough to sit on! I was also impressed at how thick it is - definitely provides cushion to your knees even when kneeling on a hard surface, let alone grass or dirt. Overall, if you do a lot of work around the house or garden work, this product is indispensable!

I got this specifically for use during a DIY vinyl flooring installation. I'm not getting any younger and my knees feel a little older than the rest of me. I spent several hours kneeling on this pad and really appreciated the thick, dense foam cushioning. It's large enough that it was easy to stay on and I wasn't moving it every 5 seconds either. I would normally have worn knee pads which strap onto my legs but those get uncomfortable quickly. I would have liked it if this kneeling pad had a vinyl coating, since it could be easily cleaned. It doesn't, so I wouldn't recommend it for gardening where it would get really dirty but for normal household use it's nice to have around.

I got this kneeling pad this weekend and have already used it in the garage and the garden. I really like the size (measures 14"x21"x1") which is considerably bigger than most pads I've seen. My knees felt fine on the concrete and the gravel walkway and it was big enough that I could sit on it too. The handle allows it to hang right on the wall. Nice pick up for the garage/yard.

Model #380, Made in Taiwan. Size: 20.5”x13.5”x1”. This is one of the largest knee cushion/mats I've seen, though it's not as thick as many this size, which tend to be 1 1/2” thick. The added length and width is somewhat unnecessary since my knees fit very comfortably on much smaller mats. The foam is reasonably dense, so it provides adequate cushioning , but my thinner thinner pad (3/4”) is denser and provides the same level of cushioning. I'm fine with the size and comfort, but i'm not thrilled about the price – it's very expensive for what it is, and similar, thicker mats of almost the same size are available for less than half the price. Although quality seems great, I'd recommend a lower cost alternative.

While this is marketed as a "Kneeling pad". It also makes a nice, temporary, standing pad if you have work on concrete. It's 14"x 21"x 1", durable, lightweight, easy to see, (bright orange) with a handle to take you from point to point. As you get older you find that you can't stand as long, unless I am sitting at my bench, I find myself on the concrete garage floor doing whatever and using what is available to kneel on. This Pad will solve that problem. It is going to work great out in the yard when weeding too. My concern is the 1" side seems to exposed, could it have been sealed a little better. Yes this is "Closed-cell foam" which is non-conductive,resistant to oils and silicone free and I don't know production costs but it seems Pricey. But then again what are you knees worth.

My knees aren’t what they used to be, even with something between them and the hard surface, they still hurt. They don’t with this pad. I can comfortably get on my knees and work without any pain. This is a perfectly sized pad. It’s not too big that it gets in the way and tough to store. It’s not so small that you have trouble staying on it. The thickness is perfect. Any job that you do, where you have to get down on your knees, this would be a lifesaver to have. A handle is made into it, so it’s easy to carry. It doesn’t take up much room in your toolbox. I’ll replace my old one with this one. I keep one in my truck, for flat tires, etc. You know your knees hurt. Get one of these. This one is softer than some I’ve used.

Knee joints painful or uncomfortable when kneeling yet? Just wait, they will be. This large pad helps me work in relative comfort when puttering in the garage (insulates too when working on cold concrete), making indoor repairs and with gardening projects. Heck, I've even used it for cushioning when sitting on bare bleachers or to stand on when at the workbench for long periods. Its large surface allows me to move around without having to reposition the pad every time and keeps me cleaner if working on a wet or dirty surface. An extra pad kept in the trunk of my car would also be useful to for an emergency roadside repair.

My husband does most of our home repairs but he has problems with his knees so I chose this Ergodyne orange standard kneeling pad for comfort. This pad is lightweight yet the thick pad eases pressure on his knees. The handle makes it easy to carry from room to room or it can be hung for storage. He has already used it for some electrical and plumbing work and he loves it.

The proflex orange kneeling pad is about 50% larger than other kneeling pads I've used. I'm not sure if it's thicker but it feels softer than other kneeling pads. The carrying handle is a good size and makes for convenient hanging for storage. It springs back nicely and looks like it will be easy to clean. It is a bit pricey, but the high quality should provide many years of use.

I was surprised how well this works. The compression when kneeling is minimal, and I weight 200lbs, so you don't really even feel large gravel or rocks. I will be using around the house and garden very often I can already tell. It is very light, and the built in handle is great for carrying around or for storing out of the way. I'd recommend this to anyone.

I have bad knees. Getting down on my knees is not an option, not without something like this. Soft, but not soft enough for the weight of the body to send the knees to the floor. My son cracked my tail bone when he was born and I still have problems with it. I will be using this also to sit on when I have to sit on concrete. It's big enough to put my whole tush on.

SOFT; COMFORTABLE; THICK; LARGE — The Ergodyne Orange Standard Kneeling Pad is the best kneeling pad that I have used and I have used many. It is thicker (1”) and softer than previous ones. I like how comfortable it is. It is wide (long) enough (21") that I can move around on it in a wide enough area without having to move the pad. It has a large hole handle for easy carrying. The orange color makes it difficult to lose or misplace.

The size and weight given in the product description are a little exaggerated - this is roughly a 13" x 20" closed cell foam kneeling pad (the face dimensions are a little larger: 13-1/4" x 20-1/4", but since some edges are concave – see photo, the usable size is less). It is 1" thick and weights 21.52 ounces (1.35 lb). This foam is very dense and supportive (same type of foam used in sports shoes). The skinned top and bottom surfaces prevent any lateral movement or slipping. The foam has low water absorption, is chemical and oil resistant. The size allows you to reasonably move around on your knees without having to constantly shift the pad. It can also be used as a small anti-fatigue standing mat.

This is a very nice kneeling pad. very comfortable and soft. When I use it on a hard surface such as tile or cement it doesn't bottom out like other knee pads. It measures in at 20x13x1 inch thick. Which is plenty big for working on. I don't have to keep my knees together to fit on it like other ones I've had that are about 12 inches long. This one is roomy. It also has a carrying handle. I love it and highly recommend it.

Ergodyne Orange Standard Kneeling Pad is a large one from typical pads. It measures 14-inches by 21-inches and is one inch thick consisting of closed-cell foam that is non-conductive and can be used in wet areas. Found the material dense and my knees felt comfortable the whole time using it on a hard floor. I have used kneeling pads and knee pads for years. I prefer these larger pads which I am now seeing being sold. They are easier to use, less fiddling with them. You usually just throw them down and the larger pad means you don't have to re-position it as much as with smaller ones. Knee pads which I've had for years, for me, aren't as comfortable using all day. They slip and come loose, need to be re-tightened. With kneeling pads just drop them down and go to work. Finally, this is one you are not going to misplace with its all orange color.

I have no idea how many times I've looked for an old blanket, a piece of cardboard or anything to kneel on when doing tire changes, checking air pressures or anything requiring this ole guy to get down on his knee or knees. The product is very comfortable and easy to use. With its carrying handle it can be hung on a wall waiting for your next job. Easy to clean and functional. My old prayer bones are so thankful for the Ergodyne orange kneeling pad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only thing that could possibly improve this product, would be a rigid liner on the bottom to prevent sharp objects from puncturing. Aside from that, my kneeling pad has been exposed to harsh environments, extreme sun, and oil, and has held up like a champ!

Thanks for the feedback and glad the comfort and durability were tenacious. A rigid bottom model is something to consider, thank you!

This has to be one of the most used products in my garage. I can't stand the straps on most knee pads and this product solves that problem. It's extremely comfortable and the handle is a nice feature. It cleans up quickly whether covered in sawdust, dirt and a variety of other grime.
