A 4’ hose is not enough to reach lint box mounted above dryer. Box image is deceiving.

Broke after 1st use, has short vent hose

Just installed last night for the Mrs. While fairly easy to install, the vent hose is ridiculously short ! Can't even stretch long enough to come above dryer to easily reach and clean it. Should've been at least 6ft instead of only 4ft. I tried the plastic zip ties that come with kit but after one slip off when stretching hose, I used my old screw on clamp style fasteners. So, overall: looks nice, easy install. BUT change out fasteners and ridiculously short hose!

Solved my problem when the dryer vent pipe is flooded with rain water.

It gets the job done and we really needed it, so I am happy. I do have one complaint. The clasps that hold the top on are not secure at all, especially when they get warm from the dryer heat, so the top doesn’t latch. But we just put a large rubber band around that side to keep it closed.

Not worth the price. The lack of mounting brackets in the kit was the first problem. The flimsy plastic box was the second. it served the purpose as a tempoary fix until I could install an outdoor vent.

Did not catch much lint. Disappointing. Very cheap and flimsy.

It’s great saved me money

It works okay but is very flimsy and I don’t think it will last. It is probably all you can expect for the price.

It works well. I just keep the unit filled with water

The inside measurement of the flex venting is 3.5" !! The dryer vent is 4" !! The plastic box connector is 4" and even larger at the four lips that should be holding down the flex venting !! It is impossible to connect the flex venting to either the dryer OR the plastic box!!

Since I didn’t attach it to the wall and decided to set it on top of the dryer. I only wish a little longer hose would have been provided. Everything else about it is good.

Beware, the box shows the vent kit being mounted above the dryer. That can’t be done when the hose is only 4 feet long and with allowances made for all the twists and turns needed to attach it to the dryer. Especially when the dryer’s vent is located on the bottom of the unit. Otherwise it works fine like advertised.
