I bought French doors for my living room maybe 8 years ago and the inside still looks beautiful but the wood frame on the outside was starting to rot at the bottom. I put flex tape over the wood frames and you can’t even tell it’s there unless you walk up to them and look for it. I’m hoping it at least buys me another year before buying new doors.

4" Flex Clear Tape fixed my intex above ground pool liner. The birds were pecking the top of the liner to get at the nylon strings for their nests. I install the 4" tape on the top of the liner problem solved.

I had a shower pan that was cracked and caulked but leaked anyway. it was bad. to replace it would have cost hundreds of dollars and a lot of work and if i had to hire it out it would have been a thousand dollars or more. I took sheet metal and used flex paste adhesive/glue. i put a patch over the cracked area. after it dried i used seal tape, and then took the flex seal spray and went over everything. i used almond and it matched up OK. so far it has been a few months and it looks great and most of all i don't feel like I'm going to fall through and now it does not leak. I am very satisfied with flex seal products.

It’s an excellent product, it works and it does it’s job… You need a little wider tape if you could do a 24” x 10’ it would be a perfect application for a steel roof. Food for thought

A piece of the gasket (at the bottom) had come off from my washing machine. I patched it with regular Gorilla tape (which worked) while I investigated a more permanent solution, eventually deciding on Flex Tape. Removing the residue left behind by the Gorilla tape was an ordeal. I then applied the Flex Tape, which is quite thick (one should only cut it with a razor knife), but it did not adhere sufficiently to the rubber gasket even though I had waited a long time before using the machine. Water leaked out when I used it -- something that did not occur with the regular Gorilla tape. I am returning the Flex Tape and will try the Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape. Flex Tape might work on plastic (which is why I gave it two stars instead of one), but I have only tried it on rubber with poor results.

I purchased Flex seal white tape to repair my platform tent. A bear had ripped open one side. I sewed it up and put the Flex seal tape over the tear. The tent sits in the hot sun and the tape is still holding fine after several months. Great product.

Very happy with the results. Sealed the greenhouse panels since they were blown out in a coastal storm. Since then have had high winds and they did not budge. Can't really cut a straight straight line with the 8" width roll as I made 2" long strips and it is rather gummy material. But no matter, I was looking for functionality rather than esthetics. Also, the large roll was much more economical for the project instead of purchasing 2" wide rolls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this on my garden hose which had 2 small holes. I cleaned and dried the area before applying and let cure for over 24 hrs. It seemed to seal the smallest of the two holes but not the other one. It still sprayed out from under the tape. I don't know if maybe I did not get a good seal or what but it didn't work for me. I do like the ease of application and am witting to still try it again on other projects

Our dish pan has a small crack in it and so we cleaned and dried the outside of the dish pan and put on the flex tape and so far so good it seems to be holding the water and now we don’t have to buy a new dish pan. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried the Flex Tape, Patches. It comes in a pack of 2. And it definitely feels like rubber and is super strong! Way thicker than I thought it would be! You will need something to cut it with, if you need a smaller patch, you can use it on several different items and in several different conditions, whether it's hot or wet. Something I will definitely keep in an emergency bag, sturdy tape for sure!

At first i was hesitant to use it but when i applied it it amazes me as it works really well. Easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Flex Tape in my bathroom to reinforce the seal around my bathtub. The tape that was there was peeling off and needed to be repaired. The tape works excellent, the bonding surface should be dry prior to applying the tape. I used the extra wide tape which was slightly too big so I trimmed to the size I needed. There have been no leaks so far and the seal is tight and waterproof. I am definitely picking up some more for some other repairs around the house. Flex tape is a super strong adhesive tape that has a rubberized backing, works underwater and instantly stops leaks. I highly recommend flex tape for sealing out water, air and moisture leaks.

Most recently I used it to seal a small hole in my air conditioning duct work. It has done a good job and has limited the air leak. I’ve used this before and will get more in the future.

I was skeptical at first to try this product out on our cracked window in the middle of winter with rain and snow outside with freezing temperatures, but my wife insisted we try it anyways. I thought for sure we were going to have to replace our window, but much to my amazement, this tape has sealed and held up despite these extreme weather conditions. It truly does have a super strong adhesive backing and holds up well. I love that it is 8 inches wide which allowed us plenty of room to cover the entire crack on our window. It definitely is waterproof and has not allowed any moisture to come through on the tape or around our window where the tape is placed. It has not peeled up around the edges and has bonded strongly to the glass surface as well as the wood frame of the window. I would definitely recommend this to others who are looking for a strong adhesive, waterproof, get the job done, without the worry, tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I figured I would get a roll of Flex Seal tape just to see if all the hype was true. As an engineer, I wanted to see if it would really work. Having played with duct tape for years to do repair and knowing its limitations, was this tape really better? Bottom line, YES it is!! I had a chance to use it on a repair for my water hose that was going bad. I opened the package and unrolled a piece of tape, the first thing I noticed was the tape itself was very thick and made of a rubberized material, like a pool liner. The material is very pliable and will mold itself around any curved or odd shape. To cut it, you need a good pair of scissors, there is no tearing this tape. The second thing I noticed, is the glue used on the tape is unbelievable. Once taped to something, especially to itself, its virtually impossible to take off with out cutting it off. The first time I wrapped it around the hose, it was a little uneven, I needed to cut it off to do it a second time. Once I reapplied the tape the hose worked like new. There are a few tools that every house needs, hammer, screw driver, etc… Everyone needs to add roll of Flex Seal tape. The number of applications for this tape is endless, the quick temporary patching of holes in walls, to stopping leaks in pipe or hoses, to things I can’t think of yet but will have Flex Tape for it just in case. I would highly recommend have some on hand just in case and give it as a gift, they may look at you strange, but they will definitely thank you the first time they need it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I noticed my floor damaged from water and being scratched from a potted plant. I did not want to repot the plant, so I used Flex Tape on the bottom. Not only did it stop, the little leak but, it protected the floor when I slide the plant. Flex Tape is easy to use and cut. I like the 8" x 5 " size, it makes a project like that easy. I am happy to have this in the house, you never know when you will have a leak. It is good stuff and I highly recommend it.

Don’t try dealing with it in the wind as I tried using a cut long strip to patch a tear in my swing awning and the wind folded the piece onto itself to where it was permanently stuck. I used a different piece and it worked as advertised to fix my torn awning. I will see if it holds through the weather but so far I’m impressed. I look forward to using this tape in other situations around my house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, I tried this with our pale with a hole and it is pretty sticky. Tried putting water on it and no leaks! This could help those broken stuffs at home to be fixed plus it is waterproof! It is mess free unlike those that creams that needs to be mixed thoroughly but with this, it is easy breezy. But I hope they also comes in small sizes because it is easy to roll it in a small things that needs to be repaired.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited about Flex Tape and being able to use it to cover up a hole in the siding of my house. In fact, it seems to be working well on that patched hole. Here’s what I liked about Flex Tape. It’s wide. It’s 8” so it will work well in patching larger holes. It works in hot or cold temps. It even says it works underwater! It’s flexible so it works on odd shaped surfaces. Speaking of surfaces, it says it works on almost any surface, even brick. I like that the Flex Tape is available in Clear, White and Black making it blend with multiple surfaces. While I like some of what Flex Tape offers, I had a HUGE problem with how difficult I felt the tape was to work with. The instructions literally say “Just cut, Peel, Stick & Seal” It sounds so easy doesn’t it? It was a pain in the behind. With it being super sticky cutting is almost impossible. The first try it was so jagged and crooked and sticking to itself I had to toss the piece out once I finally got it cut. For the second attempt, I had to get my wife to help me pull and cut the tape so I could hold the other end tightly with hopes of an easier cut. She cut the piece and it went a little smoother as she slid scissors across it like a razor blade instead of using a cutting motion, which is suggested on the instructions. It wasn’t perfect but did work better. Once it was cut, it folded over and stuck to itself before I could get it into place leaving it useless. Finally, on the third attempt I was able to get a piece of tape I could use. While doing all of this cutting, the plastic backing, which should help you separated so easily from the Flex Tape, I found it to only hurt my efforts. In the end I was able to cover the hole in the siding as I had hoped. It stuck well to the siding and covered the hole completely. The Flex Tape packing says the bond only strengthens with time so I expect this to hold until I can get the piece of siding replaced. I do recommend this product but I do so with caution. A product like this should be easy to use and not frustrating. After all the trouble in using this product I would look at other options as well before choosing this again to make sure I was getting a product that is easy to use as well as one that works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product and very durable. I used this on a cracked topper on my UTV. The top had cracks and when it would rain it would leak. Put a few pieces over the cracks and it doesn’t leak any longer. Has held up a few weeks now. Wonderful product! Would recommend for a durable fix.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Flex Seal Black Flex Tape. I have a plastic fish pond in my yard and it developed a small leak. I removed the protective backing from the Flex Seal Tape and applied a small patch on the area that was leaking, on the front and back, just to be sure the leak was sealed. I refilled the pond and there was no more leak. It's been two weeks and the pond is holding water fine. I would recommend this tape for any watertight repair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this flex tape a few weeks ago and am surprised at how strong of a hold the tape has. I tried it on a water bottle by cutting a slit through the side put the tape on it. Filled it up with water and no leaks! I even let it sit for a whole week and still no leaks. When I tried peeling the tape off, it was super hard and I couldn't get it off. This will definitely come in handy when I encounter a leak and need a quick fix until I can get the money to properly repair it.

I had problems with a part of my dishwasher pipe. There was a water leak and this tape was a great emergency solution while we were repairing the problem, it was adhered very well and stopped dripping water. I also used this tape to patch some holes in my children's pool and worked perfectly. The tape is very easy to use, you can cut it with some good scissors. Flex tape is very versatile, you can use it to repair a lot of things. I strongly recommend it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive never used waterproof or rubberized tape before, so that probably contributed to my surprise once opening this product up to use. It is unlike any tape I have used and completely different than I expected. I am impressed with how unique it is! I Included some photos of the tape; the roll itself along with photos of the inner sticky side of the tape and how much comes on a roll. The tape is very smooth on the outside, unlike other tapes and closer in my opinion to the texture of inflatable plastic pool toys. The inside of the tape is completely different and is covered in a decently thick layer of a gooey glue type substance. It doesn’t leave residue if you remove the tape after a short period of time, but I am positive it will leave a lot of you remove it later. Because of the unique materials used to create this tape and the width of it, it does work really well to fix things that are wet or hold water. However, I would not use it for small projects. Cutting into this tape causes the scissors to get a little gunked up, and considering most people don’t have a ton of scissors laying around I don’t recommend it. If something has a hole in it, I would suggest using a larger piece anyways to prevent the water from easily separating the tape from the surface. A couple things to note, I’m not very confident in this product holding in the heat. This type of glue gets thinner and more gooey when it is hot so I would take that into consideration for projects. Also I think heat would cause the residue left over to be much more significant. I would use this on something you don’t plan on removing the tape later. Overall I think this is a very cool, unique, and useful product. It isn’t something you will use for a lot of items that need fixed but it is such a unique product that when you can use it there won’t be many other options out there. This is actually a perk because a roll can last you a decent amount of time! Great job Flex Tape!

I could not get a repair man until Tuesday and thankfully I had my Flex Tape!! It was easy to use and cut . Once I covered the hole with the Flex Tape it worked immediately and I had no more problems with water leaking into my sons bedroom. I really liked that it didn't fall off and was water resistant . I recommend for everyone to keep some Flex Tape in there homes and emergency kits!!!
